‘This is amazing!’ Sister
Sister star Tamera Mowry-Housley tries twin’s breast milk as remedy
TWIN sisters whose relationship helped launched their acting careers have taken their close ties to the next level after one tried the other’s breast milk as an illness remedy.

Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry-Hardrict - who shot to fame in the 90s sitcom Sister, Sister - shared news of the unusual transaction on social media. It came after the former, who has two children with husband Adam Housley, became sick and struggled to find an effective medicine to help combat her symptoms. Her sister - apparently fresh from reading an article about how breast milk can be beneficial for adults offered up some of her own and it quickly earned a rave review. “Oh my gosh, Tia, this is amazing,” said her sister in a short clip on Instagram. “Your breast milk is the best milk I’ve ever tried in my life, oh my god.” The video, which showed Tamera holding a coffee mug full of the milk and hidden behind a filter, was accompanied by the caption: “Well, I do feel better.” Her sister also shared the post and revealed that it was not the first time
Tamera had sampled her breast milk. She wrote: “Soooo, my sister is desperate for some healing. She’s sicky poo and I sent her an article on how breast milk has healing properties and was okay with drinking my #breastmilk. “Ps, she’s had some before and I mean, she’s my twin.” Tia, who has two children with actor Cory Hardrict, did not share the article she read that claimed drinking breast milk could have benefits for adults. Fans of the sisters, aged 40, appear divided on whether it is a suitable beverage to be shared between siblings. One commented on the video - which has more than 360,000 views - to vouch for breast milk as being “liquid gold”, but another said the idea of drinking it beyond childhood was “nasty”. While its benefits to infants are well known, there is little evidence to suggest it serves any genuine advantages for adults who drink it. Experts have said there is no scientific proof that it offers anything more than a placebo effect. (net)
Shatterhand: ‘Working title’ for Craig’s final Bond film raises eyebrows
THE next James Bond film - the final instalment to star Daniel Craig - has been given the working title of Shatterhand, according to reports. Entertainment industry magazine Production Weekly claims that the 25th entry in the long-running franchise is being referred to by that name behind-the-scenes, with filming set to begin next month. True Detective director Cary Joji Fukunaga is at the helm after the departure of Danny Boyle last year, with release planned for April 2020. While some have ridiculed the reported working title on social media, Bond aficionados have been
quick to point out that Shatterhand is in fact a reference to the original Ian Fleming novels. The evil Ernst Stavro Blofeld the arch-nemesis of 007 - used the alias Dr Guntrum Shatterhand in You Only Live Twice, which follows Bond to Japan. Sean Connery starred in the film adaptation in 1967 and - whether or not Shatterhand ends up being the final name - the reported working title appears to hint that Craig could follow in his footsteps. But the plots will have to diverge somewhat. While You Only Live Twice marked the on-screen debut of Blofeld, his current incarnation -
played by Christoph Waltz - made his first appearance in Spectre in 2015. Waltz - nor any other cast members from Spectre besides Craig have been confirmed to return for the next film. Craig previously stated that he would rather “slash my wrists” than return to the role of Bond, but later said that he made the remarks two days after he had finished shooting Spectre - and was exhausted. Creative differences between him and Boyle were said to be part of the reason behind the eventual hiring of Fukunaga, who is the first American to direct a Bond film. (net)

‘They shot at us,’ say injured Venezuela protesters
Edinson Cisneros gasped and wheezed as he tried to talk -- he was one of the protesters struck by rubber buckshot fired by Venezuelan security forces breaking up border demos demanding the entry of emergency aid from Colombia.

The main crossing points on the Colombian border became flashpoints for unrest Saturday as Venezuelan security struggled with twin tasks: keeping Venezuelans from leaving to get aid stockpiled in Colombia, and stopping people crossing the border with aid packages. Cisneros, 24, was in a large crowd that tried to reach the Francisco de Paula Santander border bridge, the crossing point that links Urena, Venezuela with Cucuta, Colombia. “They fired tear gas at us,” said Cisneros, 24, as he was treated for his wounds in Urena.
With a tube up his nose, sitting on a stretcher, Cisneros showed AFP his battered body: an open wound on his abdomen, and rubber pellet injuries on his chest, an arm and a leg. “The people couldn’t stand it and we lost strength. And when we were trying to catch our breath” the Venezuelan National Guard soldiers “came and they shot at us again,” he said. Cisneros was on the verge of losing consciousness after he was stuck, but saved when other protesters rushed him to a medical center near the bridge. The violence in Urena esca-
lated through the day. A group of hooded protesters stole some local buses and drove them towards the bridge to use them as battering rams against the military barricades. Then the youngsters set fire to one of the buses. The blaze spread from the vehicle and damaged a home and electricity cables before firefighters rushed in to douse the flames. The Venezuelan government of President Nicolas Maduro has closed the border to prevent the entry of the foreign aid, which he claims is part of a US plot to overthrow his leftist regime. The humanitarian aid effort is being organized by Juan Guaido,
the 35-year-old leader of Venezuela’s National Assembly who declared himself interim president and is calling for new elections. Guaido set Saturday as the day he and his supporters would try to get aid by truck or on foot across the border into poverty-stricken Venezuela -- but the effort was met with resistance from security forces loyal to Maduro.
- ‘Shooting indiscriminately’ “We were going toward the roadblock (on the bridge) and the National Guard was shooting indiscriminately,” said another Urena protester, 28-year-old Luis Polanco. Three lawmakers attempted to negotiate with the military in the afternoon, but they too were met
with tear gas. “The deputies arrived, they started to walk and (the troops) pushed back with pellets, tear gas, with everything,” said Polanco, who was struck on his ankle by a rubber bullet. The medical center that treated Cisneros and Polanco received around 50 patients on Saturday, mostly struck by rubber pellets, chief medic Soralis Medina told AFP. Continued to page 6
