PAGE 12

Denpasar (Bali Post)-

The phenomenon of fishes’ sudden death in Serangan is being repeated. Since two days ago thousands of Isabela fishes died all of a sudden on the canal of Serangan beach, for exact at Banjar Dukuh, Serangan Village, South Denpasar. According to Bali Post’s study at location on Thursday (10/6), this fish death worries the residents as they are not sure if it is safe to consume the fishes. It is suspected the fishes died because the canal to the beach was closed so the sea water circulation was stopped.

South Africa are banking on huge home support from a crowd blowing deafening plastic vuvuzela trumpets and the presence of world politcal icon Nelson Mandela to inspire Aaron Mokoena and his team. Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar apart, South Africa lack high-profile footballers but training camps in Brazil, Germany and South Africa have reaped reward with the national team unbeaten in 12 warm-up matches.
