SHOWCASE GALLERY With its close proximity to the car collection, the Showcase Gallery is the Museumâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s premier event setting. The expansive space can accommodate gatherings for up to 500 attendees. A glass wall at the north end of the gallery affords a breathtaking view of Tacomaâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s city-scape, Puget Sound and distant mountain ranges. The expansive outdoor grass Showfield provides an additional and uniquely attractive event hosting space at America’s Car Museum®. With 3.5 acres of lawn and spectacular views of the city including Commencement Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
With its gentle slope and northerly orientation, the Showfield creates a natural open-air amphitheater featuring unobstructed sightlines and advantageous backlighting. Concerts, community festivals and civic events will benefit from the high visibility and convenient access to adjacent I-5.
