El ferrocarril en la vida de mi pueblo

1

To Commemorate the 100th anniversary of the national railway, the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Ecuador launched, in 2010, a series of public schools’ events for children in Durán, Yaguachi, Milagro, Naranjito and Bucay, cantons of Guayas Province. El Ferrocarril en la vida de mi pueblo reviews the influence of the railway on these towns; the official poster and an illustrated book were created for this project, that was inspired by children’s graphics and the interprovincial popular aesthetics. The book includes the drawings of the children who participated at the schools’ contests. 1 Characters that intervene in the narration of the illustrated book.
