This workshop is an opportunity to enter a magical world of creativity, where you daydream, imagine, and craft beautiful felt creatures and keepsakes.

No experience is required—you quickly develop skills under the guidance of Martha Belardo. “The tactile activity, sculptural decisions, and design MARTHA BELARDO process stimulate the mind and mood in all the best ways,” she says.

During the week, you focus on creating whimsical woodland scenes as you learn to sculpt with wool, including layering textures and color. Using wool fiber grown, processed, and dyed in the Hudson Valley, you fall in love with this forgiving medium, which allows for delightful adjustments as your felt sculptures come to life.
