DEAR FRIENDS, “Welcome to Omega!”

After our yearlong campus closure, it’s been great to be able to say those three little words.

Throughout the past year, I counted the days until we’d be reopening our Rhinebeck, New York, campus, to once again serve as a gathering place for sharing ideas, being inspired, connecting to nature, and meeting new friends and building community.

When that day came just a few weeks ago, it almost felt like last year never happened.

But last year did happen–and it left its mark. 2020 challenged us and changed us. There were hardships and heartbreaks. Yet there were opportunities, too, where we learned more about our own humanity–from the ways trauma and grief can impact our everyday lives to the healing power of play, joy, and self-expression; from questioning the status quo, to expressing concern over the health and stability of the environment, and to seeking greater understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things.

As you look through this brochure, you’ll see workshops and conferences, both on campus and online, that are designed to address what these times are calling for from us, to bring into our lives the lessons learned over the past year, and to nurture our ongoing need to grow, to find meaning and purpose, and to be joyful. I’m confident you’ll find a program in these pages for you.
