It has been a privilege to serve as the Board Liaison for the incredible MEPA region during my first year on the board. From the moment I was welcomed into the Regional Council, I felt the warmth, diversity, and inspiring leadership that defines this region. MEPA is one of the areas with tremendous growth potential for our organization, with its vast size and rich cultural diversity offering endless opportunities.
My visits to Cape Town, Jordan, and most recently Bahrain, have been deeply rewarding. The hospitality extended to me by members, who opened their homes and lives, has made each visit an unforgettable experience. I look forward to returning soon. In many ways, I see strong parallels between the MEPA and LAC regions. Both are home to developing countries and share similar entrepreneurial challenges. I believe they may
be the most comparable regions in EO, facing common hurdles and opportunities for growth.
I encourage all EO MEPA members to explore leadership opportunities within the organization. My journey through the Path of Leadership has been one of the most valuable learning experiences of my life, offering me exceptional training, the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams, and the chance to serve others while building lifelong friendships. This path has allowed me to merge my passions for servant leadership, travel, and rock climbing. In every place I visit, I make time to connect with the land, such as rock climbing in remarkable locations like Table Mountain with my wife and daughter, or scaling the cliffs of Wadi Rum.
