OUR STUDENTS’ PRODUCTIONS I have to start saying that I’m a really lucky person because I have many good friends. It’s difficult or I can say even impossible to choose the best of them, because I love each one the same. But today, I would like to talk about my dear friend Dolores. We met in school and immediately we became friends. Dolores is the most fearless person that I meet. She is so brave and a really good volleyball player. We haven’t always been together because of that. She was playing volley at the local team, and she and her team won every game so the Spanish team signed her when we were in fourth grade, so she had to go to live to Murcia, where they trained. Thanks to volley, she has traveled around the world at the age of fifteen. She was living in Murcia for three years till she finished high school. She is really intelligent too, she got very good grades while she had to train four hours daily. Dolores is thoughtful as well, even though she was away, she used to remember every birthday and we, I mean, allí our group of friends, always received a gift. I remember once, when she wanted to send me a present but she didn’t remember my address, so she decided to send the package to the school. I was calmly in class and the headteacher called me to his office. He was really serious. I think he thought It was a good chance to have some fun. I arrived at his office quite nervous and worried, but then, the headteacher couldn’t avoid laughing and he finally gave me the present. Good thing I didn’t open it in front of him because It was a thing with weed leaves drawn on It. Dolores and I still laugh when we remember all that. When we were younger, and Dolores was still living in Murcia, she came frequently to see her family and friends, and she used to call me the first, and we spent very long evenings just talking in the park between our houses. Dolores is very creative, we have had a lot of fun creating costumes for the carnival. I always trusted her, even when she cut my hair without any experience. Now, we continue to be apart because she is living in Birmingham with her husband and her little girl Arame. But we have never lost touch. We continue to be friends as the first day. Now we can’t see each other as much as we would like but we talk a lot on the phone. Dolores loves to spend a Sunday afternoon talking with a friend and knowing about her life, she really is the most loving person and spiritual friend that I have, and I love her a lot for everything.
