Summer Activities

Happy Fourth of July!

David was down there waiting for us with a group. He was pairing us with partners for the ride. Who rides with who. I went with Anthony B We were partners together We went on the Major Taylor Trail. Mashall Taylor was an African American cyclist and activist. He was a world champion. I like the bridge. It was over a lake. We rode around. It's my home, my neighborhood. We went as a group. I had a lot of fun Marty, me, some other friends of Marty's, Marty's husband was there. He was nice. Jenny. There was a nice lady. It was fun. I had a great time. David and Janet. I rode down in the truck with David. I like waving to the people.

"I like the sign on the bridge! It was beautiful. It told a story on it about Major Taylor. He fought for equal rights."

"We rode bikes. We were outside. We had a barbeque. It was a lot of fun. I want to go again. Juneteenth is for African Americans when they were enslaved by us, then we celebrate their freedom."

"Juneteenth is a cultural for Black Americans and the slaves too. Like the late Martin Luther King."
