During Disabilities Awareness Month each year, we come together to celebrate the bright futures of those in our care--futures made possible by the support and dedication of our caring staff, volunteers, and donors. This year, because of the pandemic, we are coming together differently. But it's also because of the pandemic that we have so much more to celebrate. Everyone has risen to the occasion so spectacularly, bolstering the resilience of our members as well as the organization.
You are going to hear some remarkable and heartwarming stories tonight, stories that may restore your faith in the inherent goodness of humankind. They are backstories of the resilience Envision was able to achieve through the sacrifices, ingenuity, and pure dedication of its phenomenal staff, donors, and volunteers who have made the well-being and even the happiness of our members one of their highest priorities. Thank you for your unwavering support. You have allowed, even invited Envision Unlimited to stand on your shoulders. We are humbled by your generosity and will work tirelessly to continue earning it.
