The Pace family has had a tremendous impact on gospel music. What do you believe is the secret to your family's lasting influence and ministry? The love of Jesus Christ, pattering our lives after him as much as possible.
Looking back over your journey, what has been the most defining moment in your career as The Anointed Pace Sisters? The love of real people giving testimony of how our music touched their lives and changed them for better.

Lydia
What does "anointed" mean to you beyond the name of your group? Being anointed translates into a particular lifestyle and schedule; appointments set with God that cannot be broken or rescheduled. Your assignment depends on it.
If you could speak directly to young women pursuing their purpose today, what advice would you give them? Stay on God's altar. When the time is right, the Lord will assemble your Kingdom Marriage. Pray and fast about your mate so that you can hear the Lord clearly and not be derailed by Ishmael. God will not give you someone to diminish who you are in Him. A mate from the Lord is secure within his purpose and within himself. He enhances you on all levels. Your God given mate is further along, ahead of you in life and in the Spirit, because he is the leader of your household. He cannot lead you if he is behind you. Maturity matters!
Phyllis
How has your faith sustain you through personal challenges, losses, and the pressures of being in the public eye? My experience with God sustains me. I've heard people say that they want to die with their deceased loved ones, but I've never felt that way. The Lord had them here for the time they were supposed to be here. I wanted to be married. In fact I wanted to leave my high school graduation going to the altar, but it didn't happen that way, but I Am in the will of God and I am satisfied. The career God gave us was fulfilling for me. I enjoy serving the Lord!
Gospel music has evolved over the years. How do you stay true to your message while connecting with new generations of listeners? I stay true to God; my life is lived in obedience to Him.

Latrice
What exciting projects, music, or ministry opportunities are coming up ?
I'm currently pursuing my Kingdom assignment in New York with auditioning and networking. I'm also doing a few background vocal dates with Josh Groban and I'm still with Donald Lawrence and Company. We are preparing for our live recording this year in Atlanta. The dates are TBD.
Envision Magazine celebrates vision, faith, and purpose. What vision has God placed on your hearts for this next season of your lives and ministry?
I'm excited about the Broadway connections that God has given me and I'm looking forward to making my Broadway debut as well as creating new music of Broadway tunes with my Gospel background and influence.

- September 2026

Leslie
What is one lesson your mother instilled in you that still guides your ministry and everyday life? My parents taught me to sing, and never be afraid. Study your song or sermon and the rest is on Jesus. Your music has touched countless lives.
Can you share a testimony from a fan that deeply impacted you?
An elderly woman shared with me that our music gets her through her day. She has lived with depression for many years and like coffee is for others, our music is that for her a "pick me up."

Six is the biblical number of man or human.
We celebrate six years of Envision Radio and Magazine for all of the physical, mental and spiritual leadership and work to continue this business and ministry. Congratulations! We celebrate the work of your hands. The bible says that let the Elders that rule well be worthy of double honor. The ruling is not just ruling over people but ruling over your life, your gifts, the opportunities that God has afforded you, the ability to be a steward of everything that God has given you a vision to start, work and complete it. Blessings always.
What has God placed in your hands? What has He called you to do? What ideas have come to you, but you haven’t even started or even researched yet? The time is now. The opportunities are endless. Without effort, work, endurance, wisdom and knowledge, the idea will just be an idea, fantasy or dream. Results come from doing it, fighting through it and bringing it to fruition.
My father said, ‘as long as human beings are designed to do it, you can too.’ Whatsoever a man doeth, shall prosper, Psalm 1:3 (KJV). It’s time to get busy. Envision has been very busy. What about you?

Legacy Letters

When our children, especially adult children, are hurting, our instinct as parents is immediate: to run to them, to stand beside them, to somehow take the pain away. It feels like our mission.
The pain may come in many forms: a betrayal from a friend, a broken heart after a relationship ends, or moments we cannot fully fix or understand.
And yet, here is the quiet truth: we cannot save them from every storm.
We must resist crossing that fine line between loving… and rescuing. What we can do is remain. Present. Steady. Available.
Because every phone call, every text message, becomes more than communication, it becomes a legacy letter.
Words they may return to. Words they may reread. Words that will echo long after the moment has passed. So we choose them carefully. Not to control the outcome, but to anchor their hearts.
Sometimes support looks simple: sharing a song, offering a thought, or even talking about our own ordinary day, bringing a sense of normalcy into their storm.
If today you are comforting, consoling, or quietly counseling an adult child, know this: You are not alone. Parents everywhere are standing under the same sky, holding space, holding hope, holding love.
And if distance limits you to a message or a call, make each one count.
Because the pain will pass, but your legacy letters will remain!
No estás solo.

Hyperpigmentation: Restoring Your Skin’s Natural Glow
by Staff Beauty Editor Charlene Stands

Healthy, radiant skin is something many people strive for, but hyperpigmentation can sometimes stand in the way. Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition that causes patches of skin to become darker than the surrounding area due to an overproduction of melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. Although it is usually harmless, it can affect a person’s confidence and self-esteem.
Common causes include excessive sun exposure, acne scars, hormonal changes, aging, inflammation, and certain medications. For many people, simply spending time in the sun without sunscreen can make existing dark spots more noticeable and create new ones.
The good news is that hyperpigmentation can often be improved with a consistent skincare routine. Daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is one of the best ways to prevent discoloration from worsening. Ingredients such as vitamin C, niacinamide, retinoids, and azelaic acid may help brighten the skin and promote a more even complexion over time.

For stubborn discoloration, a board-certified dermatologist may recommend treatments such as prescription creams, chemical peels, microneedling, or laser therapy. Because every skin type is different, professional guidance can help determine the safest and most effective treatment plan.
Remember, beautiful skin begins with healthy habits. Nourish your body with water, eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, protect your skin from the sun, and be patient with the healing process. Healthy skin is not about perfection—it’s about caring for yourself and allowing your natural beauty to shine through.

Healthy Skin Tips
● Wear sunscreen every day—even on cloudy days.
● Avoid picking at pimples or insect bites.
● Keep your skin moisturized.
● Drink plenty of water and eat antioxidant-rich foods.
● See a dermatologist if dark spots change rapidly, become painful, or have irregular borders.

Active Expectancy
by Lydia Pace
The Anointed Pace Sisters
Host of the Anchored Radio Show
www.envision-radio.com
Has the Lord spoken a word over your life and it seems as though the vessel God used to speak His word over you may have mistaken the voice of God for their own because it’s been years and nothing has come to pass? In fact, your life isn’t remotely close to the life God promised you and doubt is trying to creep in riding on thoughts that say: “perhaps you didn’t hear God.”
To make matters more challenging, the path that God placed you on has been blocked by God Himself. The struggle has become so difficult you’re asking the question “What are you doing God?” If you’ve never been in this space turn the page but if you know exactly what I’m talking about, keep reading and allow me to encourage you.
I want to first help you understand that you are not alone, but in the company of Abraham, Hannah, Joseph, and so many more. Abraham waited 25 years for a son that God promised him. Hannah’s womb was closed by God which caused her to be barren many years before giving birth to
Samuel. Joseph was imprisoned and enslaved 13 years before becoming a ruler in Egypt and for those dealing with personal illness, the woman with the issue of blood suffered 12 years before touching the hem of Jesus’ garment and being made whole. I believe it is important to understand first and foremost that God has our best interest at heart.
“For
I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you and expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
The key word in this scripture is expected. What are you expecting from God? You know what He has promised you, but what are you actively expecting? For as long as I can remember, whenever I expect something, I prepare for it. When my father said that he would get me a car, I secured my driver’s license a few years before I got the car. When the furniture company set the delivery date, I had already removed the old furniture long before the delivery date was set. Why?
Because I actively expect what I’m believing God for. Expectancy isn’t dormant and dead; it’s alive with anticipation of directions from God. My question to you is: Have you prepared for the promise? What is God speaking to your spirit about your promise? Have you filled out the application? Are you changing your diet? Did you disconnect from the individual?
I understand that you’ve been waiting for a long time and the route that you’re on seems to be heading in the opposite direction of your promise, but there is a divine purpose in your process. God doesn’t waste time. He is the most efficient architect and constructor I know. When contractors working on a building, it’s intriguing to watch because so many of the things they do look futile and unnecessary, but when they explain why they had to do all that they did, you’re grateful for their efficiency and a well-built lifelong legacy is the result of their labor. It’s the same with God. What you don’t understand now, you will thank Him for later.
Even when God stands in the way of your promise, He is not doing it to agitate or aggravate you. God knows the perfect timing for our blessing. He also knows when we have assumed the posture of active expectancy. When you are actively expecting you move differently, you think differently. You are no longer waiting on, but you’re waiting upon. Bloodline curses and personal failures no longer have any bearings on what is possible for you. “I can do ALL things through Christ,” is your confession rather than the stories passed on from those who haven’t been on the cusp of a breakthrough as you are. No one
in your family has been where you are. Therefore, you cannot afford to take their advice on how to make it happen; they don’t know and neither do you. Yet one thing is for certain, you have a promise from the Lord, and it depends on what comes out of your mouth. Your power is in continuing to prepare for the promise. Sometimes you’ve got to get a faith partner to have faith conversations with. I’ve done it for years. I conversed with my faith partner about blessings long before they entered my life and she did the same with me. The enemy will tell you, that’s crazy! It’s a good thing that the righteous aren’t governed by the enemy, but we are governed by the word of God which says “…call those things which are not, as though they were.” “…build up yourselves on your most holy faith….” So, no matter how long it takes, keep speaking what God said and prepare for what He showed you.
You shall have whatever you speak!

Legacy Longevity

by Minister Linda Ross-Turner Author & Radio Talk Show Host

Legacy and Longevity
Legacy and longevity are central themes in the Christian faith, reflecting our call to honor God and impact others. As a minister of the gospel, it is vital to navigate obstacles while striving for a lasting legacy. Here’s an exploration of these concepts, supported by scripture, to guide your journey in leaving a rewarding legacy.
Understanding Legacy and Longevity Legacy encompasses what we leave behind—our influence, teachings, and the lives we touch. Longevity refers to the enduring nature of our faith and actions. Ask yourself: Has my life positively impacted my family? Does my life reflect Christ’s character and draw others closer to Him?
Key Aspects of Legacy:
● Spiritual Influence: Your guidance in faith leaves a lasting impact. Remember, “only what we do for Christ will last.”
● Character Development: Integrity and faithfulness inspire future generations. Live with love and forgiveness to honor God.
● Service to Others: Acts of kindness create lasting footprints. Like the
Good Samaritan, strive for a legacy that speaks positively of your life.
Scriptures on Legacy:
● Proverbs 13:22: “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.” Our legacy should resonate through our descendants, impacting the world for God’s Kingdom.
● 2 Timothy 2:2: “Entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Overcoming Obstacles
1. You will face challenges as a Christian. Here are strategies to tackle them:
2. Ground Yourself in Prayer: Regular communication with God strengthens your resolve.
3. Seek Community Support: Surround yourself with fellow believers for encouragement.
4. Embrace Resilience: Trials can refine your character and deepen your faith.
5. Focus on Your Calling: Obstacles often serve a greater purpose in life. Remain focused.
Conclusion
Your legacy is built on faith and perseverance. By grounding yourself in Scripture and focusing on your calling, you can navigate obstacles effectively and strengthen your impact on others.
With Love and Blessings, Evangelist Linda Ross-Turner

Just Ask 4 Wellness: A Comprehensive Approach to Health and Well-Being
In an era where wellness has become a pivotal concern for many, the phrase "Just Ask 4 Wellness" encapsulates a proactive approach to health that emphasizes the importance of seeking guidance, resources, and support. This article explores the multifaceted dimensions of wellness, the significance of asking for help, and the resources available to enhance individual and community well-being.
Photo by Joanie Simon on Unsplash
Understanding Wellness
Wellness is a holistic concept that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. It is not merely the absence of illness but a dynamic state of well-being that requires continuous effort and adaptation. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." This definition underscores the need for a comprehensive understanding of wellness that integrates various aspects of life.
1. Physical Wellness: This involves maintaining a healthy body through regular exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep, and preventive healthcare measures. Engaging in physical activities not only promotes cardiovascular health but also enhances mental and emotional well-being.
2. Mental and Emotional Wellness: Mental health is a critical component of overall wellness. It encompasses emotional stability, stress management, and the ability
to cope with life's challenges. Practices such as mindfulness, therapy, and emotional intelligence training can significantly contribute to mental wellness.
3. Social Wellness: The quality of our relationships and social networks plays a crucial role in our overall health. Fostering meaningful connections, engaging in community activities, and maintaining a support system are essential for social wellness.
4. Spiritual Wellness: This dimension involves seeking purpose and meaning in life, which may or may not align with religious beliefs. Practices such as meditation, reflection, and involvement in community service can enhance spiritual well-being.
The Importance of Asking 4 Wellness
Despite the clear benefits of pursuing wellness, many individuals struggle to prioritize their health due to various barriers, including stigma, lack of resources, or uncertainty about where to turn for help. This is where the concept of

Photo by Jernej Graj on Unsplash
"Just Ask 4 Wellness" becomes crucial.
1. Breaking Down Stigmas: Asking for help can often be perceived as a sign of weakness. However, it is essential to recognize that seeking assistance is a strength. By fostering an environment where asking for help is normalized, we can break down the stigmas associated with mental health, physical ailments, and other wellness concerns.
2. Accessing Resources: Many individuals are unaware of the resources available to them, whether they be community programs, online platforms, or professional services. By encouraging people to ask 4 wellness, we empower them to seek out the tools and support systems that can enhance their well-being.
3. Building Support Networks: Asking 4 wellness also involves reaching out to friends, family, and colleagues. Building a robust support network can provide emotional backing, accountability, and motivation to pursue healthier lifestyle choices.
4. Promoting a Culture of Well-Being: Organizations and communities that promote a culture of well-being create environments where individuals feel empowered to prioritize their health. This can involve workplace wellness programs, community health initiatives, and public awareness campaigns that encourage people to ask for and offer support.
Resources
for Wellness
In the quest 4 wellness, various resources can assist individuals in their journey. These may include:
1. Healthcare Providers: Regular check-ups and consultations with healthcare professionals are vital. Practitioners can offer tailored advice, preventive measures, and treatment options.
2. Mental Health Services: Access to therapists, counselors, and support groups can provide essential support for those struggling with mental health challenges.
3. Wellness Apps and Online Platforms: Technology has facilitated access to wellness resources, with numerous apps designed to support physical fitness, mental health, and nutrition. These platforms often offer personalized plans, community engagement, and expert guidance.
4. Community Programs: Local organizations often provide workshops, classes, and support groups focused on various aspects of wellness, from fitness training to stress management and nutrition counseling.
5. Educational Resources: Books, podcasts, and online courses can offer valuable insights and strategies for enhancing wellness. Continuous learning about health and wellness can empower individuals to make informed choices.
Conclusion
The journey toward wellness is a personal and collective endeavor that requires courage, commitment, and the willingness to ask for help. "Just Ask 4 Wellness" serves as a
clarion call to individuals seeking to improve their health and well-being. By breaking down barriers, accessing available resources, and fostering supportive environments, we can empower ourselves and others to achieve holistic wellness. In a world increasingly focused on health, let us embrace the philosophy of asking 4 wellness and take active steps toward a healthier future for all.

Promise
by Kenny Green

In a world where commitment is often measured by feelings, convenience, or circumstance, marriage requires something much deeper. True commitment is not simply staying together when things are easy—it is choosing your spouse every day, through every season, challenge, and transition that life brings.
At the heart of every strong marriage is a commitment that goes beyond emotion. It is the decision to remain engaged when communication is difficult, to extend grace when mistakes are made, and to continue growing together when life changes. Commitment is not perfection, nor does it mean avoiding conflict. In fact, every healthy marriage will experience disagreements, disappointments, and moments of struggle. The difference is that committed couples refuse to let those moments define their relationship.
This important topic is explored in depth on the Marriage Be Like podcast, hosted by Kenny and Kenya Green. Married for 28 years, they have experienced many of the challenges that couples face throughout marriage. From navigating communication struggles and family pressures to overcoming disappointments and learning how to grow together, their journey has taught them that commitment is demonstrated through consistent actions, not just heartfelt words.
What makes the Marriage Be Like podcast unique is its ability to blend humor, authenticity, and practical wisdom. The conversations are fun and engaging, but they also tackle the tough topics that many couples avoid discussing. Kenny and Kenya openly share some of their most intimate challenges and the valuable lessons they have learned through their unwavering commitment to one another.
If you desire a stronger, healthier, and more resilient marriage, subscribing to the Marriage Be Like podcast is a great place to start. Each episode offers real conversations, relatable experiences, and practical insights that can help couples build the kind of lasting bond that stands the test of time. Because great marriages don't happen by accident—they happen through commitment.

GOD’S GPS for Your Life: Following God’s Direction
by Pastor David & Lady Linda Smith New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Houston
www.NewBethlehem.org
Most people rely on GPS every day. The Global Positioning System helps us find exact locations, avoid traffic delays, respond to emergencies, and even track valuable assets. With turn-by-turn directions and real-time updates, GPS keeps travelers on the right path and helps them reach their destination safely.
But while technology can guide us on the road, many people struggle to find direction in life. Modern culture often encourages self-reliance, personal success, and following popular opinion. As a result, many seek guidance from social media, changing trends, or their own feelings instead of trusting God’s wisdom.
The Bible offers a better navigation system—God’s GPS for Your Life.
G – God’s Word (Proverbs 3:1-2). God calls us to remember and obey His teachings. His Word provides wisdom, peace, and a foundation for a long and meaningful life.
July - September 2026
P – Practice Mercy and Truth (Proverbs 3:3-4). Believers are instructed to live with integrity, faithfulness, and compassion. When mercy and truth guide our actions, we gain favor with both God and people.
S – Surrender and Trust (Proverbs 3:5-7). These well-known verses remind us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not depend solely on our own understanding. When we acknowledge Him in every area of life, He directs our paths and removes obstacles that hinder our journey.
Just as a GPS recalculates when a driver takes a wrong turn, God lovingly guides His people back to the right path when they seek Him. The lesson is simple yet powerful: true wisdom comes from God, not from ourselves.
“When you lose your signal with God, you lose your sense of Direction.” Be encouraged.

Navigating the 2026 Economy: A Call for Strategic Planning
By Richard Richardson Owner & CEO

www.eternalequityinvestments.com
As we move through 2026, the U.S. economy presents a complex landscape. While the Federal Reserve has begun leasing interest rates and GDP growth remains resilient, a significant "affordability gap" persists. Inflation is cooling, but a decade-high cost of living leaves many households feeling the squeeze.
At Eternal Equity Investments, believe understanding the macro environment is only half the battle; the real challenge lies in the startling reality of personal financial health in America today. Consider these sobering figures:
● Retirement Gap: The average American aged 60–69 has only $182,000 in savings—a sum that may struggle to sustain a multi-decade retirement.
● Lack of Direction: 67% of Americans have never created a formal financial plan, and 68% admit they are not on track for retirement.

● Daily Strain: 63% of the population is living paycheck to paycheck, leaving little room for error.
● Relational Impact: Financial stress accounts for over 40% of divorces.
Our Educational Approach
We don’t just manage assets; we build financial literacy. Our mission is to educate and empower our clients to move from where they are to where they want to be. THE MOST HOLY TRINITY
Divinely Seeing the Prophetic as the Prophetic Is Divinely Seen
by Bishop Marcus & Minister Linda Dixon House of Manna Bread of Life Church www.hombolchurch.com
“Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
— Isaiah 6:3
The revelation of the Most Holy Trinity stands as one of the greatest mysteries and most profound truths within the Christian faith. Scripture reveals that God is One, eternally existing in three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This divine reality does not present three separate gods, but one God operating in perfect unity, authority, majesty, and eternal purpose. The Trinity demonstrates the fullness of

God's nature and His continuous interaction with humanity throughout creation, redemption, and revelation.
To "Divinely See the Prophetic as the Prophetic Is Divinely Seen" means to move beyond natural observation into spiritual perception. It is the ability to see circumstances through the lens of God's wisdom, discern heavenly realities beyond earthly limitations, and recognize the active presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit working together to fulfill divine purpose. Prophetic vision is not merely predicting future events; it is seeing what God sees and understanding what God is revealing in the present moment.

begins in creation itself. In Genesis 1:26, God declares, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." The Hebrew word used for God in this passage is Elohim, a plural form that reflects the fullness and majesty of God's divine nature. While maintaining the truth of one God, this passage hints at the divine communion within the Godhead. The Father planned creation, the Son—the eternal Word—spoke creation into existence, and the Holy Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. John's Gospel confirms this reality by declaring that all things were made through Christ, while Colossians and Hebrews further reveal the Son's active participation in creation.
Humanity was created in God's image a concept expressed through the Hebrew word Tselem meaning resemblance or representation. From the beginning, mankind was designed to reflect heavenly realities on earth. Every person was created with prophetic potential, fashioned to reveal God's nature and exercise divine authority within His creation. When believers begin to understand their divine origin, they develop the ability to recognize God's fingerprints upon every aspect of life.
The Trinity is revealed with remarkable clarity at the baptism of Jesus Christ. As Jesus emerged from
the waters of baptism, the heavens opened the Holy Spirit descended upon Him like a dove and the voice of the Father proclaimed, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." In this sacred moment, all three Persons of the Trinity are visibly manifested. The Son stands in obedience the Spirit descends in empowerment, and the Father speaks words of affirmation.
The Hebrew concept of Ruach, meaning breath, wind, or spirit, reminds us that the Holy Spirit operates as God's invisible yet powerful presence. Just as wind cannot be seen but its effects are evident, the Holy Spirit moves within the lives of believers, empowering them for divine purpose. Spiritual growth requires continual cleansing and renewal. Much like maintaining healthy teeth requires the removal of plaque, believers must allow the Holy Spirit to remove spiritual buildup that hinders sensitivity to God's voice and prophetic insight.

A MESSAGE OF PEACE FOR HAITI
by James Toussaint Developer at New Haiti Enterprises/fund Inc. The Butterfly Effect City, USA
“WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DO FOR THE NEW HAITI TO COME?”
Across Haiti and throughout the Haitian Diaspora, a question echoes louder than ever before:
What are you willing to do for the New Haiti to come?
The New Haiti is not simply a dream. It is a decision.
A decision to replace fear with vision. Division with unity. Despair with opportunity. Violence with peace.
For too long, Haiti has carried the weight of political instability, economic hardship, forced migration, insecurity, and broken systems. Yet even in the midst of uncertainty, the Haitian people continue to demonstrate extraordinary resilience, innovation, faith, and determination.
Today, we issue a Message of Peace.
Peace is not passive. Peace is action.
Peace is feeding families.
Peace is educating children. Peace is creating jobs.
Peace is empowering women. Peace is supporting small businesses.
Peace is investing in communities. Peace is restoring dignity.
At New Haiti, we believe 2026 presents a historic opportunity to rebuild differently.
The world has changed. Technology has changed. Access to global markets has changed. Artificial intelligence, mobile banking, renewable energy, digital education, remote employment, agricultural innovation, and international collaboration now make possible what once seemed impossible.
Haiti does not need pity. Haiti needs partnership.
We are building a coalition of nonprofits, grassroots leaders, businesses, investors, educators, creatives, and advocates ready to accelerate change from the ground up.
Together, we can create soft landings for returning families, support local entrepreneurship, expand food security initiatives, strengthen education and literacy, develop trade and workforce programs, and unlock economic opportunities that restore hope.
The Role of R.I.S.E. with Nina Linton
Within this movement, R.I.S.E. with Nina Linton serves as a media platform and storytelling engine designed to help translate vision into action.
R.I.S.E. stands for:
Reconnect. Invest. Secure. Empower.
Reconnect people to identity, culture, and opportunity
Invest in ideas, people, and sustainable development
Secure stability through structure, systems, and accountability
Empower individuals and communities to expand into purpose and impact
Through conversations, interviews, and storytelling, R.I.S.E. amplifies voices that are actively contributing to rebuilding, innovation, and empowerment across Haiti and the global diaspora.
It is not only a media platform—it is a call to action.
We know the challenges are enormous. But we also know the potential is greater.
The New Haiti will not emerge from waiting for rescue.
It will emerge when ordinary people decide to become builders of peace.
To governments, institutions, philanthropists, investors, churches, and citizens of the world: Stand with us.
To Haitians everywhere:
This is your moment to rise, reconnect, invest, mentor, create, and believe again.
History has already shown the world what Haiti can do when courage meets unity.
Now we ask one final question:
Are you willing to give us 180 days?
180 days to organize.
180 days to build.
180 days to mobilize solutions.
180 days to prove that a New Haiti is possible.
Peace begins when action begins.

Grounded in the Storm Mental Health, Faith, and Resilience in an Age of Constant Crisis
by Dr. Michael Smith Professor of Practice ENEB
A Familiar Scene
It is past midnight in New York—or in almost any city in the world. You lie in bed, the glow of your phone lighting the dark room. Your thumb scrolls endlessly through a feed filled with stories of global tensions, economic uncertainty, political outrage, and breaking news alerts about disasters or pandemics. Your heart rate rises. Sleep becomes difficult. Your thoughts begin to spiral: What will this mean for my family? My job? The future?
For millions of people in our 24/7 digital society, this experience has become routine. What was once occasional exposure to troubling news has become constant immersion in global crises. Our nervous systems evolved to respond to immediate, tangible threats—a sudden danger in the village or an unexpected emergency. Today, however, those same biological systems are flooded with an endless stream of distant problems delivered instantly through screens.
The result is a form of chronic stress. Instead of resolving threats and returning to calm, many people remain in a constant state of emotional activation and exhaustion (Satici et
al., 2022). This phenomenon became widely known during the COVID-19 pandemic as “doom scrolling,” the compulsive consumption of negative news (Price et al., 2022).
Yet even in the midst of this storm, calm is possible. True resilience does not come through denial or avoidance, but through a combination of psychological wisdom and spiritual grounding.
The Psychological Reality
The human body is designed to respond to acute stress. When danger appears, the body releases adrenaline and cortisol to trigger the familiar fight-or-flight response. After the threat passes, the body returns to equilibrium.
Modern life rarely allows that recovery.
Today’s digital environment exposes people to an uninterrupted stream of crises: wars, economic instability, political polarization, and social media outrage. Continuous exposure to these stressors can keep the sympathetic nervous system activated for extended periods, raising cortisol levels and contributing to fatigue, irritability, weakened immunity, and

And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
For many believers, this promise represents a powerful source of peace. Yet faith can sometimes be misunderstood when it is used as a substitute for emotional processing rather than a guide through it.
Psychologists refer to this dynamic as spiritual bypassing—using religious language or practices to avoid confronting painful emotions such as grief, fear, or anger (Cashwell et al., 2007). Instead of working through those emotions, individuals may attempt to suppress them with statements such as “just pray more” or “have stronger faith.”
This approach rarely produces genuine resilience. Unacknowledged emotions often return with greater intensity over time.
Ironically, the Bible itself models emotional honesty. The Psalms contain raw expressions of grief, confusion, and frustration with God. Psalm 13 begins with a direct cry: “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?”
Healthy faith does not eliminate emotion—it guides people through it.
Research during the COVID-19 pandemic supports this integrated approach. Studies show that adaptive religious coping, which combines prayer, community support, and practical coping strategies, is associated with higher resilience, reduced depression, and increased hope (Vásquez-Caballero et al., 2026; Sen et al., 2022).
Faith and psychological wisdom work best together.
Five Faith-Informed, Evidence-Based Practices
1. Limit Exposure Without Ignoring Reality
One of the most effective ways to reduce stress is to set intentional boundaries around news and social media consumption. This may include scheduled news times, device curfews, or intentionally choosing balanced information sources.
Reducing exposure to constant negative media lowers emotional contagion and cortisol spikes (Satici et al., 2022; Türk-Kurtça & Kocatürk, 2025).
Scripture echoes this rhythm through the concept of Sabbath rest (Exodus 20:8-10), a practice that invites individuals to pause, reflect, and reconnect with deeper values rather than reacting constantly to the world’s noise.
2. Return to Your Sphere of Influence
Global crises can create overwhelming feelings of helplessness. A healthier approach is to redirect attention toward the areas where meaningful action is possible—family, community service, local advocacy, or acts of kindness.
Research shows that restoring a sense of agency is a powerful buffer against stress and despair (Adams et al., 2025). This principle reflects the biblical parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), which emphasizes faithfulness in the responsibilities immediately before us.
3. Practice Nervous System Grounding
Physical practices such as deep breathing, contemplative prayer, and mindfulness can help shift the body from a stress response to a relaxation state.
Techniques like the 4-7-8 breathing method or meditative prayer activate the

parasympathetic nervous system, helping stabilize stress hormones (Elbarazi et al., 2025).
Faith traditions have long recognized this connection between body and spirit. Isaiah 41:10 offers reassurance in moments of fear: “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”
4. Anchor to Values, Not Headlines
Constant media consumption can distort priorities by elevating outrage and conflict. Resilience grows when individuals anchor their lives in enduring values such as compassion, justice, humility, and service.
Values-based living is strongly associated with improved psychological well-being and reduced stress reactivity (Adams et al., 2025).
Micah 6:8 summarizes this vision clearly: “Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”
5. Choose Community Over Commentary
Online debate rarely provides the emotional support people need during stressful times. Face-to-face relationships, shared meals, faith communities, and meaningful conversations offer far greater protection for mental health.
Research consistently shows that strong social connections buffer against anxiety, depression, and trauma (Perez et al., 2024). Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages believers not to neglect gathering together but to encourage one another in love and good works.
Authentic community strengthens resilience.
Calm Is Contagious
The weight of global crises—wars, economic instability, political division, climate concerns, and lingering pandemic fears—can make it feel
as though the entire world rests on our shoulders.
But it does not have to.
Resilience is not heroic self-denial or emotional suppression. It is the result of a thoughtful and integrated response that combines psychological awareness with deep spiritual grounding.
When individuals limit harmful media exposure, focus on meaningful local action, calm their nervous systems, anchor themselves in enduring values, and cultivate authentic community, they begin to experience a different kind of peace.
Scripture describes this process beautifully in Romans 5:3-5 (NIV): “Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Hope does not ignore suffering. It transforms it.
Research confirms that positive religious coping—seeking meaning through prayer, purpose through service, and connection through faith communities—can strengthen resilience and reduce psychological distress (Park et al., 2025; Vásquez-Caballero et al., 2026).
And hope spreads.

Understanding

Computer memory is one of the most essential components of any computer or digital device. It is the temporary workspace where a computer stores the information and instructions it needs while performing tasks. The most common type of memory is Random Access Memory (RAM), which allows programs and applications to run quickly and efficiently.
Think of memory as your computer’s short-term memory. When you open a web browser, edit a document, or stream a video, the data needed for those activities is stored in RAM. The more memory your computer has, the more tasks it can handle at the same time without slowing down.
Memory is different from storage.
While storage devices such as solid-state drives (SSDs) and hard drives permanently save your files, memory only holds information while the computer is powered on. Once the computer is turned off, the contents of RAM are cleared.
Having enough memory is important
because it directly affects your computer’s speed and overall performance. Insufficient memory can cause programs to freeze, applications to load slowly, and multitasking to become frustrating. Upgrading your computer’s RAM is often one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to improve performance, especially for users who work with multiple applications, edit photos or videos, or enjoy gaming.
Whether you’re using a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, memory plays a vital role in delivering a smooth and responsive experience. Understanding how computer memory works can help you make smarter purchasing decisions and ensure your devices perform at their best for years to come.
