Entre 2 Mundos: Codex 1

Page 1

At the dawn of creation, Ometeotl,-“The Duality,”- wove the tapestry of the world into existence.

They bestowed dominion over the suns upon their cherished children.

Yet, one among them remained unsatisfied. “The Obsidian Heart” yearned for more, seeking greater power for himself.

Thus the reign of the four suns began.

“The Obsidian Heart” ruled the first sun with indifference, leaving the first humans to weep for the sun’s love.

Thus the other children of “The Duality,” led by his twin “The Plumed Serpent,” united to overthrow the First Sun.

In a fury, “The Obsidian Heart” unleashed his jaguars to devour every human, leaving nothing but bones in their wake.

And thus, each sun that followed met its end through cataclysm and ruin.

Each sun met fierce gales, fiery rain, and relentless floods.

With each destruction, humans were deceived and transformed into the new beings, destined to inhabit the next.

Yet, behind each cataclysmic end, “The Obsidian Heart” remained, pulling the strings from the shadows.

And so darkness reigned for a time, shrouding the bones of our ancestors in its silent embrace....

The Gods, bewildered, grappled with how to prevent the cycle of destruction from repeating.

Until they realized what must be done.....

The gods vowed to imprison “The Obsidian Heart,” shielding the next sun from his wrath.

Many lives were sacrificed in this endeavor, until “The Plumed Serpent,” offered his own life to secure his brother’s eternal confinement.

Yet, this act alone was not enough, and two lesser gods also gave their lives to ensure the seal’s strength.

From this sacrifice emerged the Fifth Sun, born of all who contributed. radiant and blessed with gifts for its new inhabitants.

These gifts, known as Teotl, were a divine blessing—imbued with great favor yet carrying the weight of those gods who had left this plane.

Those who could understand Teotl and harness its might found themselves able to both protect and nourish the world.

Yet, there were those who, driven by their own desires, wielded it for their own gain.

This is where my journey began and ended, joining those who used Teotl to bring peace and healing to the world.

And soon, after my travels, I would create a “Cuepaliztli” where kindred spirits, united in the dream of healing the world, could thrive and blossom.

In this place of healing.

Bestowed directly by the gods themselves.

I would discover a blessing.

A young girl, who would heal the world..

Tlacui 3: Don Bibi y La Casa
Chapter 3: The Pots Casa

Tia Alma?

We’re supposed to heal, protect and guide. Not bully people.
That’s not what being a curandera is about

BULLIES? TRY, DAMN PUNKS!

Victoria, Pulga listen carefully.

I want to tell you a story about the great potter.

Once upon a time the great potter decided to form the clay of the earth into vessels.

He would make vessels of clay everyday. Each one physically different, but each with the same purpose.

However, some of the vessels didn’t nudge or follow the potter’s hands and water. Leaving them ill prepared.

As these vessels began to be used for water and plants, they would soon crack, and the clay would spoil and be useless.

What happened to the vessels that listened and followed the potter?

They stayed fruitful for many years - being used for many things.

However, they too would outgrow their use and be reused to create the next generation.

Are we talking ACTUAL pots here?

Hold on!!!

Or is this one of your curandera proverbs?

We all have a purpose, but some people choose to go againt their purpose.

We can’t judge those who chose to wander from their purpose or retaliate.

Regardless of how we’re treated, we need to stay true to the Potter’s purpose for us.

Which is why you must remain kind and truthful, Semillita.

Kind and truthful Semillita!!

My sweet Semillita, your vessel—your heart and spirit—is what makes you truly special, no matter what the Jovas think.

It’s your goodness that will carry you further.

Thank you Tía!

And, one day, it will make you the next Gran Curandera. Never forget that.

Why... do... we.. live on the mesa.
No crying... Just help me..
Gracias, Semillita..

Don Bibiano!!

Chamaquita!!!

Hahaha Are you excited for Izacapalli?
