"Lif tyle the dream, lux y the rew d."
When I was a young kid growing up, I remember sitting with my Father at the very top of the MGM Arena in the nosebleed seats. At the time he didn’t have much money - he was a young dad, but my father always did his best, working hard and inspiring me to want more in life. I remember sitting up top of the Oscar De La Hoya fght - the bigest boxing match in the world at the timenot knowing what the world may bring to me. I remember watching AC Slater (Mario Lopez) on Saved by the Bell, my favorite tv show at the time, and seeing him lif weights and wrestle like the star he was. I remember dancing to 50 Cent songs at my prom singing, "Go Shorty, it's your birthday," never knowing that years later when I grew up, I would be having cigars, drinks, and golfng with that same artist. Sitting down with Mario Lopez at his home sharing life stories over tequila, now knowing his entire family. Sitting in a cigar lounge and putting golf balls around with Te Golden Boy himself, Oscar De La Hoya, in his ofce smoking a Fuente cigar and catching up on the last times we were together. Never did I dream of any of this, however, I knew one thing when I was young, you always have to chase your dreams.
