isco is all set to accelerate the journey to a digital world with its Threat Centric Security solutions and holds the hand of the customer along the path. Adam Philpott, Cisco – Sales Director, EMEAR Cyber Security says that, the Cisco threat centric security solutions are a CIO´s best friend that help them in traversing this journey with ease and excellence. “Digitisation is upon us yet 71% of executives feel that Cyber Security risks are

inhibiting their digital ambitions. We estimate that there will be 500bn devices connected by 2030 and that scale needs a different approach to security. The IoT is creating new opportunities for businesses in the global community but as more it becomes connected more threat vectors are created meaning greater opportunities for malicious actors.” says Adam. In this dynamic threat landscape, security needs to be as pervasive as the internet of everything – itself. Cisco’s threat centric approach to security pro-

vides an unparalleled breath of coverage that reduces complexity while also offering superior visibility, continuous control and advanced threat protection across the extended network. “Our holistic approach security strategy covers the full attack continuum – before, during and after an attack which offers greater effectiveness, faster detection and quicker response times.” he adds. Adam will also be presenting a keynote session titled ‘Accelerate the Digital Journey, Securely’, on March 31, 2016.

PASSWORD SECURITY LIKE NEVER BEFORE ZSS has developed a novel geographical based access credential to demonstrate one possible implementation of geographical passwords. ZSS has named the patented technology ZSS LOGIN which divides planet earth into small rectangular geographical areas where each rectangle represent a GeoGraphical passwords. Employees instead of writing difficult to remember, construct and maintain conventional passwords, they will just pick places on planet earth, generating extremely strong geographical passwords that requires trillions of centuries for cyber criminals to brute force; providing ultra-protection to the enterprise assets. Key features •  Easy to remember passwords •  Hard to predict •  Diverse

MISSION: MALWARE REMOVAL Malwarebytes debuted in the GISEC 2016, The firm’s strategy in the Middle East will be strongly channel focused and it will announce distribution partners in the coming months. Anthony O’Mara, Vice President, Malwarebytes, EMEA said, “Our mission is to create the best disinfection and protection software to combat the world’s extremely harmful threats and ensure that organizations across the Middle East benefit from a malware free existence. We are extremely excited to be setting up in the Middle East and are looking forward to partnering with some of the region’s most respected resellers and distributors to ensure thousands of companies are protected and malware infection rates fall significantly as a result.”

Spotlight for FTW 2016 FTW is about demonstrating both our architecture and infrastructure capabilities and in this case we are looking at HK 25000 series, it’s an IoT dedicated built gateway specifically designed to connect the end point nodes, sensors other few wireless or wire technologies and caters to multiple protocols that are very intelligent parts. We also announced an industrial PC class product which are industrial grade devices that we can deploy into industrial environment and can work in extreme temperatures, more like smart operating systems that needs infrastructure. Competitive Edge As we develop Dell as a global technology company, our customers and partners are looking for our footprint or partnership or company that provides assistance, so the idea is if you have the ability to look at not just one stop shop and more in the case that one wants a trusted supplier, it builds a product and a portfolio around the ability to be secured and confident in the manageability and how we look at the data. Our differentiation is being a global company that enables these security services with partners and how we assist companies wanting to move as solutions. We offer consistency of supply and services in terms of detection and prevention services in terms of their security portfolio in and around IoT implementation.

Security Solutions Reimagined The collective strength of Bulwark vendors There are various aspects of IT Security, starting from Cloud to the gateway to the internal endpoints. All these points need to be addressed. The dynamic solutions offered by our partners help us in addressing these areas. Security for IoT age JOSE THOMAS, MD, BULWARK TECHNOLOGIES IoT is adding billions of devices to the network which is accumulating humungous data. The communication between the various points and the server has to be secured properly. Big data also plays a major role in analysing the data. So, security is no more a choice and people have to invest. Security market dynamics The security market has changed dynamically. Earlier, only the large corporate enterprises were focusing on security. Now even SMBs are keen to securing data by deploying proper solutions. Customer pain points Only properly managed security architecture can only provide proper results. So in order to manage the solutions, the customers need to have the adequate resources and they need to maintain the resource. So cloud and managed service is also gaining prominence.

MAZEN DOHAJI, REGIONAL DIRECTOR, LOGRHYTHM

Logrythm launched Logrythm 7.0 LogRhythm 7, a major upgrade to its leading security intelligence and analytics platform. New innovations in search, scalability, performance and security operations efficiencies will help organizations detect and respond faster to advanced cyber threats. DAY THREE

Advent of a Digitalized M2M Age

MATTHIAS MAIER, PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, SPLUNK, EMEA.

Splunk has been participating in GISEC since 2013. Splunk is a platform for machine data, where customers can analyse and send their machine datas from all their devices, servers, web servers, from network devices and also from applications and IoTs, they can report on that information and can use it for different use cases, they can use it for IoT cases as well as IT operations and business analytics or customer touch points and see how businesses are doing in a digital world and they can use it for marketing as well. For GISEC Splunk has three focus areas; Analytics driven security, User Behaviour Analytics, Response Program with software vendors. “As companies grow and the data that they create expands, it’s becoming easier and easier for these security threats to hide within a company’s network. The key to addressing this is being able to analyze machine data in real time to uncover anything anomalous.” said Matthias Maier, Product Marketing Manager, Splunk, EMEA.

EMPOWERING SMARTNESS IN THE SMART CITY The IoTX Spotlight We are Showcasing our IoT platform which customers can use to build their own IoT solutions. This year, we are also showcasing the smart booth concept for which we are inviting our potential customers to come to our booth and experience real life IoT. We have also introduced the Smart Lighting Solution to be used by cities. We already have a customer for that, where our solutions save 20% of energy bills and achieved 30% energy savings in that city. The Smartness meter IoT is an evolution rather than a revolution. A smart city would be data driven and the services would be subscription based like

pipeline gas and water. We are seeing deployments but we still have a long way to go. IoT as a service IoT definitely has to be offered as a service. We are focusing more on enterprise and government solutions. We focus on three major areas; Energy management, Remote site management and Mobile asset tracking. The platform is highly compatible with multiple devices and protocols and can be tailor made to suit unique business requirements. The platform aims at enhancing end-to-end business operations by improving efficiency, reducing downtime, upgrading security and scaling up overall health of businesses.
