Our accommodation is located at 39 Evans Street just 15-20 minutes by car from Nikos Kazantzakis Airport of Heraklion
The airport is located 4 km from the city center of Heraklion and 150 km from Chania. It is connected to the largest urban and tourist centers of Crete by buses (City bus, KTEL, Union), taxis and is also served by rental companies.
Different city bus lines depart from the airport, serving the entire municipality of Heraklion. The bus stop is located within walking distance of the terminal building.

Easy self-check-in with touch lock.
If you are having trouble checking in, please contact us and we will assist you. The touch lock is located on the door handle of your room
To display the keypad numbers on the handle, you must press and hold the touch screen.
Enter the room number that has been sent to you.
The door opens automatically
The access code is valid only once, when you first enter the room.
For your subsequent exits, use the room card that is inside.
The electricity in the room only works when the card is inserted into its slot on the wall
After check-out (until 11:00 AM), remove the card from the slot and leave it in the room.
With the room card, you can also open the main entrance door.
AC - System Guide
In each room, you will find a white remote control for the air conditioner. You can adjust the mode (heating or cooling), the temperature and the fan speed. The air conditioner only works if and when the balcony door is closed. When the room reaches the selected temperature, the air conditioner will automatically switch to standby mode.
It will continue to operate as soon as the room temperature changes. If you want to take it out of standby mode manually, simply increase or decrease the temperature by 1-2 degrees and the air conditioner will start working again.

ATTENTION
One of the two types of rooms available at City Nest Living has a sliding door that separates the kitchen from the closet.
We have taken care of your safety by adding a handle to the perforated door so that you can slide the door without any risk to your hands.
Please take care of your own safety when using it.

Our rooms have a handheld steam iron.
Please read the instructions for use included in the package.
The steam system
Tefal Pure Pop DT2020 produces steam up to 20 gr/min, offering effective steaming and cleaningin a single stroke.
Our rooms have a tabletop induction hob.
To set the correct hob temperature, simply move your finger along the control until you reach the level you need.
Please do not use tap water in the steam iron, as it may cause salt stains on clothes.
You can choose from 8 different power levels to best suit your current cooking needs!
Amentities
Our rooms have a luggage rack and a folding laptop table.
Waste Management
Garbage must be thrown into the bins located opposite the accommodation. The blue bin is for recycling (glass, paper, plastic, etc.) and the green bin is for all other garbage.
Hot water in the shower
The room has a solar water heating system, so there should be hot water on sunny days
For hot water in the shower, turn on the shower tap, the hot water takes about 1 minute to start flowing.
However, if the hot water runs out, you can always turn on the electric boiler by opening the door - lifting the two boiler switches located in the apartment's electrical panel. You will be able to recognize the switch by the word Water Heater.
�� Remember to turn the switch off after about 20 minutes.

TAXI
There is a taxi rank opposite our accommodation, the cost of the journey is determined by a taximeter. There is also a taxi ordering app that you can use, "FREENOW".
BUSES
In the area around the rooms, there is a wide variety of bus stops through which you can reach the entire city and the suburbs of the city. Also, through the central station "KTEL" you can reach many destinations throughout Crete.
SHIPS
From the port of Heraklion you can take a ship to Athens and a wide variety of islands and cities in Greece, such as Piraeus - Santorini (Thira) - Milos - Mykonos - ParosRhodes - Karpathos - Naxos - Tinos and others

BOATS
During the summer season, there are several sailboats and catamarans that leave from Heraklion Marina to Dia Island for all-day excursions
