秘訪蘭花活動圓滿完成！雖然只能舉辦其中⼀場原定計劃的 活動，但參加者沿著⼭頂附近的步道，參觀了獨特⽽多樣的 蘭花植物。⼤部分蘭花在當時盛開，參加者能夠有幸觀察到12 種不同的蘭花屬植物。參加者不僅僅通過觀察來學習，還學 習了關於蘭花的⽣⻑習性和適應性，以及盜採和喪失棲息地
The Orchid Walk activity was completed without a hitch! Though only one of two initially planned sessions were held, participants were guided along the trails near the peak and given a peak at the unique and diverse orchid flora which populate our country parks. Many of the orchids were in bloom at the time and participants were able to observe 12 unique genus of plants flourishing in the wild. However, participants didn’t learn solely through observation, and were also educated on their growth habits and adaptations, as well as the threats of poaching and habitat loss on their population.

Both sessions of "One-day Museum Curator" have been successfully held!
During these museum workshops, participants not only learned about the biodiversity on Earth but also had the privilege to visit the specimen preparation room and behind-the-scenes imaging studio! Everyone was very satisfied after completing their specimen displays and presentations. We would like to express our gratitude again to the Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum for their assistance.
「我哋喺港⼤，梗要讀⽣態！」EBS OCamp 2024完成！透 過3⽇2夜嘅活動，帶⼤家參觀博物館，⾛進⾹港⽣態的⽇ 與夜，更體驗⾹港⼤學的營⽕傳統，希望⼤家都玩得開⼼ ⼜識到⼀⿑讀⽣態的朋友！
“We’re at HKU, of course we study E&B! ”The EBS OCamp 2024 has concluded! Over the camp of 3 days and 2 nights, participants explored museums, experienced the day and night of Hong Kong's ecology, and took part in HKU's campfire tradition. We hope everyone had fun and made new friends who share an interest in studying ecology together!
新學期，新開始！我們很⾼興能聚在⼀起慶祝新學期的開 始。教授和學⽣們共進晚餐，進⾏學術交流，⼤家都享受了 傳統⼩炒美⻝，還結識了新朋友。
New semester, new beginning! We were happy to gather and celebrate for the new term. Teaching staff and students joined the dinner and engaged in conversations, they all enjoyed the traditional chinese meal and made new friends.
我們分別在⿓⻁⼭和流⽔響⽔塘兩個地點舉辦了夜⾏考察活 動！雖然臨近季未，但是很慶幸我們能在舉辦活動的兩天跟各 位參加者⼀起觀察到⻘⽵蛇、福清⽩環蛇及數種壁⻁等夜⾏⽣
We held our Night Safari night field activity at two locations, Lung Fu Shan and Lau Shui Heung Reservoir. Although it was close to the end of the herping season, we were very fortunate to be able to observe night creatures such as White-lipped pit viper, Common wolf snake and several gecko species with our participants over two days of the event. It was a fruitful experience!
