Nuestro plan de trabajo está listo para ser ejecutado y seguir atrayendo inversiones a nuestra ciudad, fortaleciendo nuestro ecosistema empresarial y generando valor como región.

Este año seguiremos promoviendo los sectores económicos representativos de nuestro municipio manufactura (aeroespacial, movilidad, salud, electrónicos), empresas marítimas, industria turística, agronegocios, tecnologías entre otros.

Estamos dando continuidad a los contactos realizados el año pasado, al recibir delegaciones de embajadas y empresas que visitan nuestra ciudad en misiones de exploración para oportunidades de negocios.

Todos los que habitamos en Ensenada, formamos parte de la promoción económica de nuestra ciudad: proveedores de servicios, hoteles, restaurantes, comercios, industrias de transformación, emprendedores, instituciones educativas y comunidad enriquecemos este ecosistema empresarial.

Dear readers: We are very pleased to share with you the first newsletter of 2024. We start the year with great enthusiasm to continue promoting Ensenada. Our work plan is ready to be executed and continue attracting investments to our city, strengthening our business ecosystem and generating value as a region.

This year we will continue promoting the representative economic sectors of our municipality: manufacturing (aerospace, mobility, health, electronics), maritime companies, tourism industry, agribusiness, technologies, among others.

We are continuing the contacts made last year, by receiving delegations from embassies and companies that visit our city on exploration missions for business opportunities.

All of us who live in Ensenada are part of the economic promotion of our city: service providers, hotels, restaurants, businesses, transformation industries, entrepreneurs, educational institutions and the community enrich this business ecosystem.

FENDER

COMPANY VISITS FENDER Together with the State Secretariat of Economy, we visited Fender, a company dedicated to the manufacture of electronic guitars and basses. During this visit we met with all the company's departments to learn about their capabilities and upcoming projects. We thank Raquel García for facilitating the link with Fender, as well as the General Director, Ángel Espinoza, for welcoming us and introducing us to the entire team. This meeting was attended by Ushuaia Zepeda, Promoter of Ensenada EDC and Enrique Rodríguez, Coordinator of the SEI.

This month, together with the Secretary of Economy, we visited Hemtack, a company that is dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of textile products. The objective of this visit was to learn about their processes and products to create a link with a Canadian company. Talent BC 2024. At this meeting, Governor Marina Del Pilar highlighted how important talent and linkage projects between schools and companies are, as well as the fact that Baja California is a leader in Nearshoring thanks to this. The axes that will be strengthened in 2024 are: music, cinema, gastronomy and health tourism. In Ensenada there are technical schools and universities that offer careers belonging to these sectors, so this innovation program will greatly benefit our city.

We congratulate NAVICO, Agencia Aduanal Ruanova, Maverick Manufacturing, Hotel Coral & Marina and ECA LNG, member companies of the Ensenada Economic Promotion Commission, for obtaining the 2024 Socially Responsible Companies Award, awarded by Lic. Armando Ayala Robles , municipal president of Ensenada.
