TruSet™ Tillage Technology

TRUSET: ON-THE-GO,
AND DOWN-PRESSURE CONTROL
If you thought shims and springs were the height of tillage technology, we have good news…John Deere is bringing one of the oldest field operations into the precision age with TruSet.
TruSet gives you on-the-go control over tillage depth and down-pressure, right from the operator’s seat…no shims, no tools, no stopping. You can adjust depth in 1/10” increments with the push of a button to accommodate changing soil conditions or to break up compaction layers. Plus, TruSet allows you to run and document prescription tillage, so you can incorporate residue at different levels throughout a field, then check back to see how emergence or yield were affected.
Because TruSet incorporates in-cab adjustment and prescription mapping, TruSet provides double-edged value to growers who need to make the most of every
moment in the field. First, the ability to adjust depth and down-pressure on the fly saves precious minutes when compared to manually-adjusted systems. Second, prescription tillage capability allows growers to map areas of hardpan, traffic lanes, or differing soil types, and have the TruSet system go deeper to break up compaction. Using historical field maps, users can also set the system to more aggressively size residue in areas of higher yields, or document the yield effects of different tillage practices on yields.
But the best news? Not only can TruSet be ordered from the factory on many new pieces of John Deere tillage equipment, but your current equipment…even your competitive-model tractor…are likely already TruSet-capable.

TruSet Tillage requires a GreenStar-ready or newer tractor with a supported display and receiver. The TruSet Tillage system must have a connection to the tractor ISO connection.

TruSet is compatible with John Deere and competitive tractors. Depending on the tractor, a compatibility kit may be needed in addition to the TruSet Tillage system. The compatibility kit includes an add-on selective control valve (SCV) and installation components.
