With a peak 415 hp (309.4 kW), the John Deere 600R Series chassis delivers fast acceleration to cover more acres in less time—even with heavier payloads. Maximize your 600R’s versatility with an air boom system. The AB200DS Chassis-Mounted Air Boom from Salford® transforms the 600R into a highcapacity pneumatic applicator. With an 80 ft (24.38 m) application width, the AB200DS pneumatic applicator can comfortably cover more than 70 acres (28.3 hectares) per hour at 10 mph (16.1 km/h)—a 14% larger span than 70 ft (21.3 m) competitors.² The applicator is also capable of maintaining accurate application at speeds up to twice that. The patented row-crop boom can be equipped with application drop tubes on 30 in (76.2 cm) centers. The John Deere 800R Floater is a versatile, high-productivity nutrient applicator built for today’s Ag Service Providers and large-scale producers. One chassis can be configured as a dry spreader, air boom applicator, or high-capacity liquid sprayer, with a common hydraulic implement pump that makes changeover fast and efficient as seasons and conditions change.
Specifically designed for the 800R, the Trelleborg VF850/45R26 front tires deliver a wider footprint that reduces compaction while improving flotation and ride quality. For dry spreading, the 800R pairs with the New Leader DS35 G-Series Spreaders with a capacity of 330 cu ft (9.34 m³) and spread widths from 60 to 90 ft (18.3 to 27.4 m). Options include the G4, G4 Edge, and G5 which can be upgraded with MultApplier or MultiBin™. For higher-capacity dry application, the John Deere AB30 and Salford AB320DF Air Booms offer capacity up to 320 cu ft (9.06 m³), working widths up to 90 ft (27.4 m), and multi-product capability for maximum daily productivity.
For liquid application, the 800R with the LS20 system delivers a 2,000 gal (7,570 L) stainless-steel tank, dual pumps, magnetic flow meters, and a 90 ft steel boom with John Deere Section Control to reduce overlap and maximize efficiency.

Including the G4, G4 Edge, and G5, the DS35 New Leader Dry Spreaders are 14 ft (4.27 m) in length, with 330 cu ft (9.34 m³) of capacity. Available in 15 different configurations, the system supports spread widths from 60 to 90 ft (18.3 to 27.4 m) depending on product and setup.
Available in 304 stainless steel or 409 painted stainless steel, the G4 and G4 HP single bin options come standard with a removable end gate, inverted V, and electric oiler. They deliver outstanding productivity at 15 mph (24 km/h) with application rates up to 1,100 lb/ acre (499 kg/ha) for fertilizer or 6,600 lb/acre (2,994 kg/ha) for lime.
For added versatility, consider the 7-ft (2.1 m) 304 stainless-steel MultApplier insert. It allows you to apply two products at once.
