On behalf of myself and the staff at the Bartow County Parks and Recreation Department, we would like to thank you for your continued support and assistance in working with the youth and senior adults in our community. As we continue to grow in Bartow, we have been planning, organizing, and preparing to offer new opportunities for you in the upcoming year.
The new Recreation Center is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2026, and the water park is expected to open around Memorial Day weekend. We are excited about these additions to our department and are glad to be able to provide these services to our county.
As 2026 begins, let’s all remember the important things in life. We are living in a time where we sometimes allow social media, AI, and the internet to control our lives. However, the most valuable thing we can offer our children and family in our time is our attention.
I hope you all have a blessed 2026, and we encourage you to come spend time with us this year.
