Portfolio of Mafaz Al-Mushigah

I am Mafaz Almushigah, a creative interior architect with a strong background in developing innovative design solutions that enhance the safety, well-being, and quality of life of occupants. My passion for design extends beyond interiors to encompass architecture, fashion, and graphic design, allowing me to approach projects with a multidisciplinary perspective.
I am driven by the desire to push the boundaries of conventional design, transforming the impossible into reality. Interior design, for me, is not just about aesthetics but about shaping spaces that influence how we inhabit, move, and interact within them. Working on diverse and challenging projects has refined my skills in color balancing, space planning, problem-solving, and communication.
I am always eager to stay at the forefront of evolving design trends, ensuring that my work aligns with both contemporary demands and my personal creative vision. UCL’s Architecture Design Master’s program presents the ideal opportunity for me to further explore innovative spatial solutions and contribute to the evolving discourse on architecture and design.
This Portfolio presents a sample of work that has been most beneficial to my journey. Containing a mixture of professional work and work from my undergraduate year. All work produced by Author including Professional work under the supervision of the project director.

Hollaw Core Slab is used . The cores can function as service ducts and significantly reduce the self-weight of the slabs, maximizing structural efficiency. The cores also have a benefit in sustainability terms in reducing the volume of material used. Units are generally available in standard 1200mm widths and in depths from 110mm to 400mm. There is total freedom in length of units, and splays and notches can readily be accommodated. Hollowcore slabs have excellent span capabilities, achieving a capacity of 2.5 kN/m2 over a 16m span.

The reception design aims to reflect the luxury of the resort inspired by the desert rose phases . Marble and wood are the main materials to enhance luxury and sandy look of the lobby . Green touches used to reflect welcoming .
