The charter members had several meetings over the winter of 1958 into 1959 and the first show was planned for the last Sunday in August of 1959 through Labor Day in September. That first 9 day show continued to what you see today with the continued effort and mission of the association to preserve steam powered equipment and the education of the public about it along with our agricultural past. We have many operational boilers including steam engines and a fully operational 0-6-0 PRR Steam Locomotive built in the Altoona shops in 1901 that was used in central Pennsylvania. We demonstrate early methods of farming and sawing that built America. You can find engines and tractors of all sizes with even some home built one of a kind pieces of history at our show. Our organization prides itself as being a fully nonprofit 501.c.3 organization run with volunteer help and the assistance of few outside vendors.
