New Hope Community Life Ministry, 248-A Maple Ave., Quarryville, introduced its signature Pedal for Hope bicycle ride fundraiser in March. However, as with other events this spring, the ride, originally set for April 18, was eventually canceled. Pedal for Hope is back on the calendar, but it will take place in a different format. Riding bicycles is still encouraged, but participants may choose when and where they ride, rather than descending on the New Providence Township section of the Enola Low Grade Trail on a specific day. New Hope Community Life Ministry board secretary John Girvin (left) and executive director Deb Riddell invite individuals and families to participate in the virtual version of Pedal for Hope, a fundraising event for the counseling center.
