After Camp Cadet ended, Gabriel couldn’t stop asking his sister about the program and noting how he wanted to enroll in the camp one day. On Friday, June 10, Conestoga resident Martha MacAdam will rappel from the side of the Holiday Inn, 26 E. Chestnut St., Lancaster. One of the items up for bids will be a handmade quilt created by a volunteer using the handprints of students who attend Solid Rock.

To accomplish this mission, Solid Rock offers several activities throughout the

year, including after-school programs, art and drama programs, family fun events, and more. As Solid Rock continues to celebrate its anniversary, the board and staff have decided to reorganize its schedule of annual fundraising events. This year, the farm-to-table event will take place in late July, the 5K and Fun Run is planned for early October, and the auction and dinner has been moved from the fall to the spring. Solid Rock has been hosting the annual auction and dinner since 2003, but the event has not been held in person since 2019 due to the See Solid Rock Auction pg 2
