Prior to that, Courtney had wandered at least twice, and on one occasion, he got lost while driving and was found in Delaware County. On Oct. 18, 2019, Kelly received a voicemail at

Honors Students

Solanco High School juniors Madison Gonce and Kara Peace have been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Students of the Month for January. They were presented to the club by school principal Scott Long. Students of the Month are selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service. Madison is the daughter of Julie Atwood and David Gonce. She was the club organizer of HAVEN, Project LIT and the Newspaper Club, and she is copresident of SAGA. When time permits, Madison participates in the Drama Club. She has been recognized twice as a Solanco breakfast club reward recipient, and she received honorable mention for an article she submitted in a Juneteenth writing contest. In the community, Madison volunteers at the Quarryville Library. After graduation, she plans to take a few college courses and complete an internship before enrolling at Reed College.
