Beginning at 9 a.m., the entire downtown of Red Lion will be closed off to traffic to make room for over 180 vendors, concessionaires and performers. Priority was placed in involving local participants from Red Lion plus the surrounding areas of Dallastown, Windsor, Yoe and Felton. There will be FREE face painting and balloon twisting for the kids located at Center Square. Throughout the day, there will be youth entertainment along with many musical acts including the Red Lion/Felton Community Band,
sponsored by Laucks and Laucks Attorneys. A dunk tank will be available all day to raise money for 18 South Youth Ministries. Be sure to visit the Red Lion Train Station located on N. Main Street to view their new model train layout. Now included at the Train Station is the Red Lion Historical Society - all fully air conditioned for your comfort. Be sure to check out the permanent displays in the warehouse consisting of old Loyer’s Pharmacy memorabilia courtesy of the Historical Society. Need to cool off during the street fair? New this year is the “COOLING AREA”. Stop by and cool off at the former Red Lion Historical Society building located at Center Square.
A free shuttle service from the Leo#1 Fire Company to the Red Lion High School will be provided. Patrons are asked to park at the High School at 200 Horace Mann Ave.

The Red Lion Area Business Association, who sponsors the event, has set their sights high. The street fair is about having fun, it’s about the community with local businesses, churches, nonprofits, vendors and schools, all playing a hand in creating a street fair that offers something for everyone.
