The One A-Chord Community Choir will present “All Is Well,” a concert of worship and Christmas celebration, on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m. at Lancaster County Christian School, 2390 New Holland Pike, Lancaster. The mission of One A-Chord is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Admission will be free and open to the public, and a freewill offering will be received. COMMUNITY MEAL

Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3183 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, will offer a free hot meal on Thursday, Dec. 13. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the handicappedaccessible Smith Fellowship Hall. Thirty local, national, and international nonprofits will offer opportunities to purchase alternative gifts that will directly benefit the organizations’ missions. Shoppers who purchase gifts will receive greeting cards to give to loved ones. The Marketplace will feature tangible gift items available for purchase; these items will be social enterprise, fair-trade, or both. The event will also feature family-friendly activities and local food vendors. After the Gift Fair, alternative gift items will be available for purchase online through Monday, Dec. 31. Railroad Society Sets Open Houses The Lancaster Chapter National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) will host open houses at the Christiana freight station, 10 Railroad Ave., Christiana, on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. Visitors will be able to enjoy a leisurely tour of the 1882 freight station decorated for the holidays. There will also be an opportunity to climb aboard a restored N7E Conrail caboose No. 21153, where a volunteer will give facts about the caboose and the Amtrak mainline that runs through Christiana. Visitors will also be able to watch the Amtrak trains pass by the freight station from the outdoor deck. Bird-In-Hand Stage To Feature Peach Lane Farmers Market Uplifting Entertainment To Celebrate Grand Opening

The cast of “A Christmas to Remember” will take audience members on an inspirational journey during the live holiday musical that is playing on the Bird-in-Hand Stage through Saturday, Dec. 29. Bird-in-Hand Stage is also presenting “Magic & Wonder of Christmas,” a show featuring illusions and comedy. The Bird-in-Hand Stage focuses on bringing live entertainment to its audiences up close and personal. Performance offerings include Broadway-style

Steve Esh, owner of Peach Lane Farmers Market, a new store located at 85 Peach Lane, Ronks, has been farming produce for 10 years. Most of the produce from Esh’s farm is organic. For two and a half years, Esh has been participating with a farmers market in Harrisburg, and he is now opening his own farmers market right at his farm.
