Adam Nagle, who became executive director of The Factory Ministries earlier in the summer, has never trained for a long bike ride. Looking ahead to the end of October, he likes to joke with Tim Rogers, lead pastor of Grace Point Church of Paradise, about a bicycle ride The Factory has planned to take them to the Boston area. Nagle keeps volunteering to drive a vehicle up instead of riding a bike, and Rogers keeps responding, “That’s not an option.” All joking aside, a group of about 14 bicyclists and a few motorcycle riders will leave Paradise by 5 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, with a goal of riding up to 150 miles per day for three days to arrive at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., on Monday, Oct. 28. Among those riders will be Pedro Rivera, Pennsylvania secretary of education, and Pam Smith, special assistant in the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The riders will be divided into smaller groups, and each of those See Bike Trip pg 2
