LBC To Stage “Tradition!” In Honor Of Past Musicals By Ann Mead Ash When Dave Felty, head of the musical theater program at Lancaster Bible College (LBC), realized that this fall would mark the 10th year since the music, worship, and performing arts division of the college began to produce musicals, he knew he had to plan a fall
show that would honor the accomplishment. “This felt like a great time to celebrate a little bit of every show we have done,” shared Felty. “We won’t hit every show, but we will hit most of them.” To mark the milestone, Felty has planned “Tradition!” The dinner and concert format production will feature
18 students from the worship, music, and performing arts track. Shows will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, with dinner at 6 p.m. and a concert at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28, with a meal at noon and concert at 1:30 p.m. A concert will also be held on Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend may purchase

After hijacked airplanes impacted the two towers of the World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001, triggering their collapse, the nation vowed to never forget the lives lost in that tragedy. A decade later, Lancaster-area firefighter Scott Yuill felt he needed to do something to make sure the 343 firefighters who died during rescue attempts continued to be remembered. As a result, Yuill and his firefighter colleagues hosted the first Lancaster Memorial Stair Climb, See 9/11 Memorial pg 7
