The Amberland Kids Academy preschool hosted both the Manor Township and Millersville Borough police departments for Police Appreciation Day on May 11. The officers and their chiefs visited the preschool so that the students could thank them in person for their service to the community.

To express their appreciation, the preschoolers presented a giant, handmade thank-you banner and handed out customized goodie bags. The children also sported handmade police headbands for the occasion.

Amberland hopes to make this appreciation day a yearly tradition.
