Penn Manor Breaks School Record At Mini-THON

Penn Manor High School’s Mini-THON raised a total of more than $45,710 to help the families fighting pediatric cancer at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Splish-Splash, It’s An Easter Egg Bash! BY COURTNEY MENGEL

On Dec. 1, 2021, the Lancaster Family YMCA and the YMCA of York and York County merged into a single YMCA association, now known as the YMCA of the Roses. Prior to the merger, the York YMCA branches were the only locations that hosted a Splish, Splash Easter Egg Bash. For the first time, this event will be offered at the City Center and Lampeter-Strasburg branches in Lancaster County. The Splish, Splash Easter Egg Bash will take place at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA branch, 800 Village Road, Lancaster, on Saturday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to noon and at the City Center YMCA branch, 265 Harrisburg Ave., Lancaster, on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. This twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt will require kids to bring a basket, a swimsuit, and a towel because they will hunt for eggs in the pool.
