ruisin’ in Christiana is fortified as a yearly tradition in the local community. Christiana Fire Company will present its fourth annual “Cruisin’ in Christiana” car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, on the grounds of the William P. Brinton House, 17 Green St., Christiana. “I think there’s a lot of car enthusiasts in the area that enjoy coming out to the property,” said fire company member and event organizer Shawnie Betts. “It’s a great use for that property.” The rain date for the show is the following Saturday, June 20. On the day of the event, registration will begin at 9 a.m. The first Cruisin’ in Christiana event was held in the fall of 2023; it has been held in the spring every year since, aligning it more with the traditional season for car shows. There’s been lots of planning involved.” The event will kick off on Wednesday night with an invitation dinner hosted by The Barn at Stoneybrooke, 4740 Lower Valley Road, Atglen. The dinner will consist of sharing history and stories from more than a century of generations in the borough. After invitations are sent out, the event will become open to the public until the 100 to 125 person capacity is reached. The borough is asking attendees at the
