“A Touch Of Country” Fundraiser To Feature McGraw Tribute Artist Max Armstrong, the youngest of five children, grew up in a tightly knit family that became the Armstrong Family Singers. They were blessed to have the opportunity to tour throughout the United States and cut an album in 1976. When Tim McGraw first appeared on the country stage in 1994, many people approached Armstrong and told him how much he looked like the new country star. Armstrong put together his looks, his ability to sing, and his love for people and entertainment and became “McGraw to the Max,” a Tim McGraw tribute artist.
