When nursery teacher Dawn realized that Sherry, the mother of one of her students, was on the verge of homelessness, she connected her to Bridge of Hope @ Good Samaritan Services (GSS).

The program saved Sherry, the mother of four, after a family conflict jeopardized their living arrangement. Dawn also pulled together a “neighboring” group at their church, which became an essential support system for Sherry during her two years in the Bridge of Hope program. Through those essential two years, Sherry learned budgeting skills, was promoted in her full-time work and found permanent housing for her family.

Sherry is just one example of the many women whom Bridge of Hope @ GSS has helped become independent and successful.

Cordell Huyard, director of the Cavod Theatre production of “Shrek The Musical Jr.,” featuring Cavod Academy student actors, is thrilled to be presenting a show that he feels was such a good choice for the organization. “(The show) fits Cavod really well,” he said. “It’s family-friendly.” Huyard also deemed the music “incredible,” noting that several of the more than 30 musical numbers should resonate with audience members.

“Shrek” will be staged at Cavod Theatre, 685 W. Main St., New Holland.

The show will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 3; at 2 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 4; and at 2 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.

“The Lititz Pretzel Fest (will be) very different this year,” explained Pretzel Fest chairperson Karen Davis. The annual event, which is organized by the Kiwanis Club of the Lititz Area, has traditionally included tastings and games on a single day in May. For 2019, the

event will be divided into two days. The first will be a day of tastings, dubbed Pretzel Fest, geared more to adults, that will raise funds for the second, dubbed Kids Fun Day in the Park, a day of games designed to appeal to children.

Kreider Farms is known for its dairy products, but on Saturday, May 4, the focus will be on water when the Kreider family hosts a World Vision Global 6K for Water event. The 6-kilometer run/walk will begin at 525 Indian Village Road, Manheim, at 9 a.m. and will go through what marketing and social media specialist Khalee Kreider noted that her family calls “Kreider Valley.”

“Last year, Kreider Farms hosted the Global 6K for the first year with high expectations to bring clean water to 2,000 people,” said Khalee, a member of the fourth generation to be involved in the family business.

“We went over and beyond our goal, raising upward of $150,000 and providing clean water to over 3,000 people. We would like to meet or even exceed our achievement last year in 2019.”

Separate fees have been set for adults and for children under age 18. World Vision promises that each Global 6K for Water adult participant’s registration fee provides clean water for one person in need for a lifetime.

According to information provided by World Vision, the average woman in rural Africa walks 6 kilometers to haul 40 pounds of water every day. Worldwide, women and girls spend a combined 200 million hours hauling water daily. Water projects by World Vision are developed in conjunction with local leaders to create safe sources of drinking water, whether through a borehole well, an irrigation system, or a pump or filtration system powered by a solar panel. The organization also provides training so that local folks can maintain and repair the systems to ensure the project is sustainable.

Although this is the second year the Kreider family has hosted a Global 6K site, Khalee’s parents, Ron and Hollee, have had a long-standing relationship with World Vision.

“They have been on multiple trips with World Vision to multiple countries including Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, India, and Bangladesh to see the work first hand that World Vision is doing in these developing communities,” Khalee said. “Last year we were excited to host a 6K on our farm and invite the community to join us in supporting this organization close to our hearts and make an impact bringing clean water,

The 2018 Steps to Success Early Learning Center Spring Carnival in Leola raised nearly $1,000 for the organization. This year, organizer Tracie Hanson, assistant and curriculum director at Steps to Success, is hoping to surpass that goal. “Funds raised by the carnival will be used to purchase classroom supplies,” said Hanson.

The free spring carnival will be held at Steps to Success, 56 Hillcrest Ave., Leola, on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition to a silent auction, the event will feature face painting, entertainment, a bounce house, and carnival-style games.

Food items will be available for purchase, as well.

A focus of the event will be games for children to enjoy. “We will have everything from skill games to fish pond games,” said Hanson, who noted that obstacle courses, face painting, and entertainment suitable for children will also be offered. “It will be a lot of fun for the little ones,” she added.

Most of the course will be on paved roads or sidewalks, but there may be sections that are gravel. Strollers are welcome, and Khalee noted that even with the rain last year, people using strollers did not seem to have difficulties with the course. At the end of the

course, chocolate milk, other beverages, and lactose-free ice cream will be served.

Off-site parking will be available at Doe Run Elementary School, 281 Doe Run Road, Manheim, and Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim.

Shuttles will run from the parking lots to the start line beginning at 7 a.m., with the last shuttle picking up at 8:30 a.m. The buses will start back up at 10:30 a.m. to transport folks back to the parking areas.

“They’re still coming in.” Hanson hopes to

have at least 60 items up for bids in the silent auction, which will open at 10 a.m.

Winners will be announced at 12:45 p.m.

Brethren Village from pg 1

The Manheim Township High School (MTHS) senior class officers hosted a senior prom for residents of Brethren Village on April 5. Brethren Village is the official sponsor of the school’s senior class prom, and the officers wanted to do something special to give back to residents.

The students replicated their own theme at Brethren Village. They also chose refreshments and photo props, and they crowned Terry Wilhelm and Nancy Sweigart as prom king and queen, respectively. Prior to the dance at Brethren Village, the senior class officers met with the resident dance club and learned some old-time line dances.

Instead of a ticket price for the dance, residents contributed a freewill offering in support of the Manheim Township Educational Foundation (MTEF). The event raised $1,125 for MTEF, and Hannah Bartges, president of the MTEF board of directors, was on hand to accept the donation.

Food Drive To Benefit Water Street Mission The fifth annual Feed the Need Food Mission (WSM). The Lancaster Marimba Ensemble will perform on Saturday, April 27, at Zion Lutheran Church in East Petersburg. and American jazz. Generally, the instruments used for performances are handcrafted, four- and five-octave marimbas and xylophones.

The ensemble performs at various events, including arts festivals, worship services, weddings and picnics. The performances

include commentary and interaction with the audience.

The Lancaster County National Day of Prayer event will take place on Thursday, May 2. Music will begin at 5:40 p.m., and the event will officially start at 6 p.m. The free event will be held at Lititz Springs Park, 18 N. Broad St., Lititz. The 2019 theme is “Love One Another,� taken from John 13:34.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to come together to pray. It began in 1952 through a joint resolution of the United States Congress and was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The Lancaster County National Day of Prayer event has taken place on the first Thursday of May for 24 years.

Music at Zion will present the Lancaster Marimba Ensemble in concert on Saturday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1905 Broad St., East Petersburg.

The Lancaster Marimba Ensemble was formed in 1991 by Dr. Daniel Heslink of Lancaster and Dale Ginder. Initially comprising nine members, the ensemble now has five core performers: Heslink, Jim Martin of Strasburg, Colin McCaskey of West Hempfield, Stephanie Smith of Manheim and Jolyn Wolf of Ephrata. Members of the ensemble have studied under the direction of Heslink through Millersville University’s music department.

The group performs a variety of musical selections, ranging in style from opera to vaudeville and from Broadway to sacred.

The theater department at Veritas Academy will present the play “Peter and the Starcatcher” on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, at Leola Elementary School, 11 School Drive, Leola. Shows will take place on April 26 at 7 p.m. and on April 27 at 2 and 7 p.m.

Shows will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, at Leola Elementary School. “(The show will) give the students a chance to step out of their comfort zone and be something different than humans.” Huyard added that “Shrek The Musical Jr.” will provide challenges for a number of students because so many of the roles have moments in the spotlight. “Many characters have solos,” said Huyard, who noted that he loves the way the message of the story resonates with the mission of Cavod. “The whole story of ‘Shrek’ is that everyone is different and special and that should be celebrated,” he said.

With the popularity of the 2001 DreamWorks film and its sequels, Cavod acting students ages 8 to 17 who auditioned for the show were familiar with the material. The cast of nearly 50 will be costumed by Jessica Horn in garb that suggests their characters, but will not make it uncomfortable to sing

and dance. Makeup will be provided by Emily Johnson. “They have a big task in front of them,” said Huyard of Horn and Johnson.

“I trust them.”

Musical numbers that Huyard expects will be memorable will include “I Know It’s Today,” sung by the three females who play Fiona. “The young version (played by Emma Byrom), teenage version (played by Riley Fidler), and adult version of Fiona will all sing this song together,” he said. “I’m a Believer,” a pop tune audience members should recognize, will be part of the show, along with a song about Duloc that is a spoof on “It’s a Small World After All.” Tickets, which are discounted for students age 17 and under, may be purchased in advance at https://cavod.org or by calling 717-354-3355. In addition to pretzel treats, live music on May 4 will be provided by Jack Roberts and

Ragtime Willi, known for an eclectic mix of folk, bluegrass, and old-time country music.

Frank Porter will perform acoustic rock songs, upbeat instrumentals, and classic rock, and Forgiven, featuring Kevin O’Brassill, will play family-friendly rock and Jesus Rock music from the late 1960s and 1970s, along with original tunes.

Tickets to the fest, which Davis noted are nominally priced, will be limited. A week later, a free event in the park will be held for children. The event will feature pretzel-themed games, food, and a book nook, according to organizer Melissa Warner. “We will have all the games (from past Pretzel Fest events) plus some new things,” said Warner, who noted that the popular salt shaker and tic-tac-toe games will return.

Organizers are also working on new games,

including a traveling suitcase scavenger hunt, a pretzel maze, and an obstacle course.

There will be a bounce house on-site, and Key Club members from Linden Hall and the Manheim Township High School will do face painting. The book nook will feature free new and gently used books for children up to age 12.

Food items, which will be free for children and available for purchase to parents, will include pretzel-wrapped hot dogs, water, cupcakes, chocolate milk, and ice cream.

Warner noted that a number of volunteers will be necessary to make the Kids Fun Day in the Park a success. Individuals who are interested in volunteering may email geom1948@comcast.net.

Each child who wishes to attend the Kids Fun Day in the Park must present a voucher at the event on May 11. Vouchers may be obtained at the Lititz Public Library or at the Manheim Township Public Library Art Gallery, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster.

Henne was already somewhat prepared for his part as Donkey, having played an animal in a previous Cavod production. “(Henne) was Pumbaa in our ‘Lion King’ production,” said Huyard. “He has grown (as an actor) since then. His (acting) instincts on stage have really (matured).”

Bridge of Hope @ GSS aims to reduce homelessness among all women and children in the local community. From 2017 to 2018, its Permanent Housing Services program served 208 women and children, provided $87,792 in rental assistance to single mothers across Lancaster and Chester counties and helped 12 families graduate from the program, according to www.good samservices.org. The organization’s services include case management and goal planning, resource development, life skills and parenting support, mentoring/volunteer support and financial assistance for rent, utilities and transportation.

In 2017, Good Samaritan Services took Bridge of Hope Lancaster and Chester Counties under its wing via a merger between the nonprofits. Both had the same mission but offered different services, so combining allowed them to be even more effective in accomplishing their goals.

“As a result of the merger, families in our Bridge of Hope @ GSS program can now participate in our Matched Savings and Microloan programs,” explained Nate Hoffer, the CEO of Good Samaritan Services. “The Matched Savings program awards $600 and the Microloan program awards loans up to $2,500 to clients, which, when paid back, rebuilds their credit.”

In October 2018, the Bridge of Hope @ GSS program was given several awards from

Bridge of Hope National for being the highest-performing program site in the network across both the U.S. and Canada.

“We received awards for serving the most families and successfully helping families move into permanent housing,” said Hoffer.

Engle Printing & Publishing Co., Inc. (EPC) will again partner with Bridge of Hope @ GSS for the 12th annual Golf Outing, which completely benefits the nonprofit.

“We have been supporting Bridge of Hope @ GSS for the past decade, impressed by the continued progress they continue to make in the lives of our neighbors,” said EPC publisher Jocelyn Engle, who spearheads the event. “We are passionate to benefit organizations that recognize the importance to provide wholeness to individuals and families in need of support.”

In the past decade of the partnership, EPC has raised a total of $135,000, which has been directly used to provide rental assistance and case management services to the families in the Bridge of Hope program.

“We recognize that our strong community can have a positive influence, not only financially but emotionally and physically, to provide assistance to our neighbors.

EPC’s family of publications reaches throughout Lancaster and Chester counties, bringing communities together for good,” said Engle.

Presidential Celebration Set The 228th anniversary of President James Buchanan’s birthday will be commemorated on Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m. The event will feature the annual presentation of the White House wreath at the president’s gravesite at Woodward Hill Cemetery. A birthday celebration will

follow at Wheatland from 2 to 4 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.

The presidential wreath-laying ceremony will include historical commentary provided by the presiding officer of Pennsylvania’s National Guard, 328th Brigade Support Battalion, and the 56th Brigade Combat Team.

Founded in Manheim, the organization has expanded into several county school districts. utilizing the program through a special membership affiliation. “Membership gives a nonprofit or church an opportunity to subscribe,” explained Smith, who noted that the membership fee affords the organization access to an online toolbox, which includes curriculum, curriculum support, videos, training, and a connection to the central office staff. “We also set them up with their own Bible2School website … which allows them to do online student registration,” noted Smith.

Bible2School has members in a number of county school districts, including Conestoga Valley, Manheim Township, Hempfield, and Elizabethtown, which, along with SDL and Manheim Central, reach a total of more than 700 students within the county. The organization also has affiliates in western Pennsylvania and now in Delaware.

Lisa Landis served as master of ceremonies for the anniversary celebration, and guest speaker Dan Kreider, a Manheim Central alumnus and member of a Pittsburgh Steelers NFL championship team, spoke about the importance of his Christian roots as he moved into playing college and professional sports.

In 1979, Section 1546 of the Pennsylvania School Code was amended to allow children to be released from public school for religious training of their choice.

The Manheim Ministerium responded by organizing Weekday Religious Education (WRE).

“At that time, in the late 1970s, divorce rates were rising, and children were missing church because of dual home situations,” noted Smith. “(The founders of WRE) wanted to be a support piece for those children.”

Smith noted that 40 years later, according to some statistics, less than 25 percent of children attend church. “The need to have a program like this hasn’t gone away,” said Smith. “It has increased.”

WRE, now called Bible2School, provides a program that comes alongside the churches to reach the children, but the program is no longer restricted to Manheim.

About a decade ago, Bible2School expanded into the School District of Lancaster (SDL), where the program was embraced and now serves grades two, three, and four in seven of 13 elementary schools. Kori Pennypacker became executive director around that time. At the banquet, Smith spoke with a secondgrade teacher from SDL who talked about how the students need a program like Bible2School and noted that he sees a difference in the behavior of the students who attend the program.

Growing beyond the Manheim Central School District was a cause for celebration at the event.

“We celebrated the direction of growth (of) this membership model that allows Bible2School to be picked up anywhere,” said Smith, who said the program grew out of requests from parents. “Parents were saying, ‘I see the need for this. How do I get this into my community?’ That was a catalyst for us.” While the Manheim office oversees Bible2School in the Manheim Central School District and SDL, a number of other school districts within and outside the county are

Lititz Christian School, 501 W. Lincoln Ave., Lititz, will host its annual Team McConaghay Run on Saturday, May 4. The event will include a 5K, a half-mile fun run and a chicken barbecue.

Freshman Darren Cammauf claimed the high jump at 5-6 and Elvis Morara won the triple jump at 41-0.25.

Sophomore Emily Kreider earned one of five wins for Manheim Township in the field events as she hurled the discus 77-3. Fellow sophomore Adrianna Bryant’s shot put of 32-8.75 was also a first-place measurement.

In the javelin, Kate Grohotolski came through once again, winning the event with a tremendous toss of 97-3.

Sophomores Kyra Rishell and Emily Bogda also earned first in their respective events with Rishell’s triple-jump of 34-2 and Bogda’s 4-8 high jump.

Sadie Weaver-Walls won the 300meter hurdles with a time of 52.6.

The Township girls fell to 1-3 (1-2 league) while Hempfield improved to 1-3.

TENNIS The regular season concluded with the Township tennis team shading McCaskey 4-3 on the road Wednesday afternoon. With the victory, the Streaks improved to 3-8 (2-4 league).

Township took two of three doubles matches while William Fenimore and

Chad Haiges teamed up for a close McCaskey win at number one doubles.

Fenimore, who would go on to win at number one singles, and Haiges edged Drew Greiner and T.J. Kade 8-6.

Fletcher Henneman and Nick Oster regained that point at number two doubles with an 8-3 win while Matt Sciamanna and Jack Gingrich claimed the third doubles 8-2.

Henneman took the second singles 6-2, 6-0. Greiner came up short at number three singles, despite winning the second set 7-5 and battling Ermias Wogari in the tiebreaker before Wogari prevailed 10-7.

Oster came back strong after a 6-0 opening set defeat to win 6-3 and 10-7 for the deciding fourth MT team point.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE The only match on the schedule this past week was a non-league meeting at home against Owen J. Roberts on Wednesday. The Wildcats gave the home team a tough time before the Streaks pulled out a 19-15 win.

The Wildcats could not stop Lucy Svetec, who pelted the OJR goal for seven goals. She also added an assist.

MERCHANDISER - Manheim Township Edition With the Cedars leading 5-4, DeMarco relieved Jones and was the recipient of the Streaks’ game-tying run in the sixth, and the go-ahead and insurance runs in the seventh. Despite giving up one run in the bottom of the seventh, DeMarco held on for the 7-6 win.

Jones did have an RBI triple on the day. Evan Clark had an RBI double and scored a run. DeMarco went 1-for-3 with a run and a RBI. Speed was a key factor for Township. They swiped 10 bags, including two each by Greiner, Yablonski,

DeMarco and Sassaman. Musser and Jacob Schaefer each stole one.

Connor Vucovich started and went five innings against Central York on Thursday. He allowed two unearned runs and struck out four men. Clark came on in relief and pitched two shutout innings for the save in the 6-2 win.

Again, the Streaks used speed to their advantage with Musser, Jones, Yablonski and Luke Wenger each swiping one bag.

Jones went 3-for-4 with a run scored. DeMarco was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Greiner drove one in with a sacrifice fly. Yablonski had two walks and two RBI’s.

SOFTBALL With three straight games of scoring in double figures, the softball team extended its

winning streak to four games. The Streaks have won seven of their last eight decisions.

On the week, they played three games in three days, defeating Solanco, Ephrata and Lebanon in Section One and Two crossover action.

In the 10-4 defeat of Solanco, Casey Martin went the distance, pitching a dominant game until finally yielding three meaningless runs in the top of the seventh of Monday’s game at Township. She struck out 10, allowing only three walks and six hits.

There was a 12-hit offensive support for Martin, including her own 3-for-5 day at the plate. She tripled and drove in one run and also crossed the plate twice herself.

two singles, an RBI and a run. Kaily Carrasco’s 2-for-4 game included a home run, and four RBI’s. Julian Lueders drove in a pair.

In Tuesday’s game at Ephrata, the Mountaineers scored first, plating three in the home half of the first inning. Overall, they scored eight runs (six earned) off freshman Hillary Murse. She went 4.2 innings, striking out three before giving way to Martin.

The senior came on to nail down the win with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, allowing two hits and striking out two.

On offense, Township erased the three-run deficit quickly with three in the top of the second. They went on to score two more in the third and gave Murse more cushion with a six run fourth inning. They were up 11-3 by the time Ephrata mounted a rally in the bottom of fifth, which prompted Martin coming in as a reliever.

Smith, Smith and Smyth delivered extra-base hits on the day. Delaney Smith doubled and tripled in her 2for-3, 3 RBI afternoon. Annika Smith and Emily Smyth each doubled.

Maddie Rinier went 2-for-4 in the leadoff spot, stole a base and scored two runs. Carasco was 2-for2 with two runs and a RBI. Elise Mitchell and Rylee Tineri each stole two bases.

Martin only struck out six batters in the win over Lebanon. However, the game ended after three innings, which meant Martin only needed nine outs to complete the 16-1 win.

Offensively, the Streaks took advantage of 19 walks and only stroked four base hits as they improved their record to 8-3 (7-3 league).

VOLLEYBALL Conestoga Valley and Hempfield topped Township in two L-L League boys’ volleyball matches. The Buckskins posted a 3-0 win at Township on Tuesday night. The Streaks visited Hempfield on Thursday where the Knights won by scores of 25-4, 25-13 and 25-14.

The two losses dropped the Streaks to 1-6 in the league (1-8 overall).

In Hempfield match, Tyler Vicidomini again led the Streaks in kills, tying Hempfield’s Elliot De La Torre and Ryan Givens with nine. Adam Leuders added five digs, Wilson Jimenez-Belliard distributed 10 assists and Anthony Depres-Hernandez came through with two blocks for the Streaks.

In Tuesday’s match, the Buckskins won 25-13, 25-11 and 25-16 as Sawyer Shertzer led CV with 13 kills and Tanner Shertzer recorded two aces plus 21 assists.

Vicidomini, who had eight kills, and Lueders each had four digs.

Lueders also served up two aces.

Jimenez-Belliard tallied 10 assists. He and Luke Messner each notched one block.

Landis Communities Hires New Director Landis Communities recently hired Ed Kaminski as the director of Landis Quality Living, an affiliate of Landis Communities designed to provide quality housing options for older adults in the region. Kaminski holds an international business diploma from Nijenrode University in Bruekelen, Netherlands, and has extensive experience in developing affordable housing in the area.

Kaminski joined the Landis Quality Living team after serving for nearly 14 years as director of business development at HDC MidAtlantic, a nonprofit with a mission of building hope and opportunity by providing safe and affordable places for people to

call home. Before that, he was a partner at The Roykam Group in New Paltz, N.Y., working in the areas of real estate investment, development, and brokerage.

In his role with Landis Communities, Kaminski will lead the exploration, development and operations of market rate and affordable living opportunities for individuals age 55 and older.

Kaminski and his wife, Kris, live in Lancaster and are parents of two adult children. He enjoys traveling to new locations, cooking for family and friends, and pursuing continuous learning.

Club Plans Food Truck Festival The Lancaster Catholic High School (LCHS) Aevidum club will present a Food Truck Festival at LCHS Stadium, 650 Juliette Ave., Lancaster, on Friday, April 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. In addition to food trucks, the festival will feature cornhole, ladderball, hair braiding, face painting, live music, Herbie the Love Bug and

appearances by other special guests. Members of the school’s broadcasting team will serve as the masters of ceremonies. The culmination of the festival will include the revealing of the school’s “Chain Reaction,” a paper chain that will stretch from end zone to end zone and represent good deeds completed by

faculty, staff members, students and guests at the festival.

In accordance with the mission of Aevidum, the festival was created to raise awareness of teen depression and anxiety as well as suicide prevention. Informational materials and merchandise will be distributed during the festival.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Lancaster (CCL) and Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster will present a screening of environmental photographer James Balog’s film “The Human Element” on Saturday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at Community Mennonite, 328 W. Orange St. The film screening will be followed by a discussion with a panel of local environmentalists.

Pianist Dr. Christopher Shih will team up with a group of artists to present Brahms’ Piano Quartet in G Minor and Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major. Joining Shih will be his

wife, Maya Shih, and Sara Male on cello; Marc Ramirez on viola; and violinist Nurit Pacht. A dessert reception will follow.

Through the Spanish American Civic Association, La Academia Partnership Charter School recently received an Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation of $2,500 from BB&T. The funds will support the school’s Early College/Dual Enrollment Program, which provides access to postsecondary education experiences for La Academia students. Many students have enrolled and selected courses from local higher education institutions, including HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

The recently donated funds will support college tuition, materials, books, transportation, and technology fees.

The Career Readiness Program at La Academia is intended to help students achieve their goals by equipping them with the skills they need for employment.

Empty Bowls Dinner Slated As part of an effort to end food insecurity, an Empty Bowls event will take place at Kevin Lehmanâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Pottery and Lancaster Creative Factory, 560 S. Prince St., Lancaster, on Sunday, April 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will include a simple meal of soup served in handmade ceramic bowls. Bread will also be served.
