A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently in Birdsboro’s Rustic Park to dedicate the Hay Creek Pedestrian Bridge.
Hay Creek Pedestrian Bridge Dedicated In Birdsboro connects Rustic Park in Birdsboro, a popular community recreation ribbon-cutting ceremony area, to the 1,800-acre Birdsboro was held on Nov. 15 to Waters Preserve, owned by the officially dedicate the Hay Birdsboro Municipal Authority. Within the preserve, visitors will find miles of walking and mountain biking trails, including the well-traveled Horseshoe Trail. Caroling, children’s crafts, a display of holiday trees and decorations, a Christmas Marketplace and an opportunity to tour the newly renovated 18th-century Ironmaster’s Mansion will be featured as Historic Poole Forge presents “Christmas at the Ironmaster’s.” The holiday attraction will open with self-guided illuminated tours on Friday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will continue on Saturday, See Poole Forge pg 8
