Community Invited To “Deck The Brook” Holiday Decorating Contest Announced BY FRANCINE FULTON
“Deck the Brook,” a holiday decorating contest, is being presented by the Honey Brook Community Partnership (HBCP). As part of the annual event, residences, businesses and organizations in Honey Brook Township and Honey Brook Borough are invited to decorate their property or doorway for any winter holiday of their choice, including Christmas and Hanukkah. Members of Boy Scout Troop 315 of Alleghenyville will take part in pre-event decorating, and they will also be in charge of the centrally located bonfire. Musical groups that will perform around the bonfire include the Twin Valley Bible Academy bell choir, the Kurtz Family Band and the choir from Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church.
