and continues to exceed my expectations.” Right now, Babushka’s is concentrating on finding homes for small dogs (under 25 pounds), puppies, kittens and, if space allows, adult cats. Those interested in fostering or adopting an animal are asked to email Schiller at Babushkasanimal rescue@gmail.com or contact her through www.face book.com/BabushkasAnimalRescue. “We are completely foster-based, so there is no public facility,” explained Schiller. “Specifically, I really could use fosters for kittens for teaching socialization. I do have an application that people need to complete. I require vet references and personal references, which is part of the application process.” Photos of animals ready for adoption can be seen on the Facebook page. Among those seeking a forever home is Brandon, a 5-year-old male shih tzu. “He is very friendly and loves people and other dogs,” noted Schiller. “He is easygoing and would be suitable for an See Pet Rescue pg 5

The sign in front of Honey Brook Community Library now has a new look thanks to Garrett Tinsley, who completed the work as part of his Eagle Scout service project. Garrett, 17, a member of Hopewell Troop 8, repainted the sign, created a flower garden around it and created a pathway to the sign using rocks. Garrett, who will be a senior at Twin Valley High
