Virtual Coffee

Mount Carmel United Methodist Church - St. Peters, 2203 Harmonyville Road, Pottstown, will offer a Woman’s Virtual Coffee on Wednesday, March 31 (and every Wednesday), at 10 a.m. Judy Turner is the host. To join, visit www.mount carmelumc.org and click on “Virtual Coffee” on any Wednesday morning.

Egg Hunt, Barbecue

American Legion Post 537, 4499 N. Twin Valley Road, Elverson, will hold an Easter egg hunt and a chicken barbecue on Saturday, April 3. The egg hunt, open to children up to age 12, will start at 10 a.m. The barbecue will start at 11 a.m.

Neighbors Meeting

Neighbors Caring and Sharing, a Christian women’s group that meets weekly at Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown, will meet on Tuesday, April 6, beginning at 9:15 a.m. The group will learn how to create grain sack shopping bags. Registration is required by contacting Tina Essick at tina.m.essick@gmail.com.

Story Time

Story Time with Miss Jennifer will be offered by the Honey Brook Community Library on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. from April 7 through May 26. “Like” the Honey Brook Community Library on Facebook for more details and to be able to see the live story time.

Children may can watch live or at any time after it is posted. Story time is geared two preschool children but is appropriate for all ages. Story time craft packets can be picked up at the back door of the library.

Outdoor Flea Market

St. Peter United Church of Christ, 1920 Ridge Road (Route 23), Pottstown, will hold an outdoor flea market on Saturday, April 10, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Space is available for a nominal fee on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors are asked to bring their own tables. Breakfast will be available inside Detterline Hall (masks required). For more information, call 610-469-9890.

Support Group

A cancer support group will meet on Thursday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., (Route 23), Morgantown. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.

The group is open to people age 18 and over who have cancer or had cancer in the past. For more information, contact Cheryl at csgcmc@ptd.net or 610-7620002.

Jazz Concert

Honey Brook Community Library, 687 Compass Road (Route 10), Honey Brook, will present an evening of jazz music featuring the Pequea Valley High School Jazz Ensemble on Thursday, April 22, at 7 p.m. The rain date is Thursday, April 29.

The concert will be an outdoor event located in the library pavilion and front yard. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs. Everyone must wear masks and practice social distancing.

Horseshoe Pitching

Community members are invited to gather to pitch horseshoes every Monday at 9:30 a.m. at New Holland Park on East Jackson Street. Everyone is welcome.
