Pageant Queens Spread Joy At Hickory House In celebration of Valentine’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Week, a group of local pageant queens, including Maille McNicholas, a student at Twin Valley Middle School, delivered 80 handmade valentines to the residents of Hickory House Nursing Home in Honey Brook, as well as chocolate bars and cupcakes for the staff members. The girls also painted the windows with inspiring messages and Valentine’s Day-themed art

Although it is still located at Conestoga Mennonite Church (CMC) in Morgantown, the Twin Valley Food Pantry (TVFP) is now its own nonprofit organization governed by a community-based board of directors. According to the Rev. Bob Petersheim, CMC pastor, the transition of the pantry from a church ministry to its own entity was accomplished in 2020. “The growth of the See Food Pantry pg 3
