Teen Central Announces Fall Banquet By Chelsea Peifer
Teen Central welcomed Janelle Heying as its new executive director in the spring, and the community will have a chance to hear from her at the organization’s annual fall banquet on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim. Admission is free; however, reservations are requested. To reserve a space, interested individuals may call 717-664-2990 or email info@manheim teencentral.org by Friday, Oct. 18. Doors will open for the banquet at 6 p.m., and people may bid on items in a silent auction. Items will include tickets to the Strasburg Rail Road, wall décor, gift cards, and themed gift baskets. The 66th annual Manheim Community Farm Show – affectionately known in Manheim as the best week of the year – took place from Oct. 7 to 11, with a rainy start that cleared to days of crisp autumn perfection as thousands of people filled the Farm Show grounds each day.
