Faith United Methodist Church (UMC), 1290 Fruitville Pike, Lititz, will host a breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt on Saturday, April 13, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, including pancakes, sausage, and a variety of cereals, will be available by donation. Craft projects and games will be offered at no charge. Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras. Egg hunts will take place throughout the morning, and prizes will be awarded for special eggs. The Philatelic Society of Lancaster County (PSLC) will sponsor LANCOPEX 2019, the 34th annual stamp show, on Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster. Admission and parking are free. The show will feature 20 stamp, cover, and postal history dealers, as well as hot food, desserts, and snacks. A youth table will be available for young collectors to talk to members and select free stamps. New collectors of any age are invited to ask members questions as well. The PSLC meets at 7 p.m. in the second-floor Crossings Meeting Room at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, on the second Wednesday of each month except August and December. Red Rose Chapter 80 of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will host a program on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Petersburg Fire Company, 6076 Pine St., East Petersburg. Hall Of Fame Chapter To Honor Inductees

Creative individuals looking for ways to fill their summer days need look no further than Cavod’s many summer camps. This year, Cavod, which was founded with the vision of raising the standard in godly artistic expression, will hold no fewer than six summer programs at Cavod Academy of the Arts, 665 W. Main St., New Holland, with one camp held at the Junction Center in Manheim. For children ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 12, Once Upon an Arts Camps will be held in the mornings and afternoons from Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12. Camp for 3- to 6-year-olds will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and camp for 7- to 12-year-olds will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. On July 12, each camp will hold a closing performance. The camp theme for this year is “Fairy Tales, Folklore, and Fables,” and activities will include gymnastics and dance for both age groups, along with crafts for the younger children and art projects for those who that meet in the afternoon. The Susquehanna Valley Area Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction ceremony and banquet on Saturday, May 4, at Four Seasons Banquet Facility, 949 Church St., Landisville. The event will begin with social time at 5:30 p.m., and the banquet will start at 6 p.m. During the banquet, the chapter will honor six inductees: Pete Horn, George Kennedy, Doug Givler, Stephen Beck, Barbara Barr, and Barry Stumpf. “We had 500 attendees last year and are hoping that number is higher this year,” said program support liaison Linda Swisher, speaking about the 26th annual Lancaster-Lebanon IU 13 Education Conference scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, 1600 Book Road, Lancaster. In order for the conference to serve a broad range of people, an equally wide-ranging list of topics will be addressed in morning and afternoon breakout sessions. A sampling of subjects includes drug and alcohol prevention and current drug trends;

anger management for adolescents; mindfulness; eating disorders, specifically anorexia; how to help bereaved students; special education law; diversity; helping students with anxiety; planning for retirement; and effectively managing language barriers. There will also be classes on literacy, behavior, math, autism, technology, and preschool/Early Intervention. “Two sessions that we are very excited about this year are the sessions on Phenomenal Science Instruction and Stopping the Bleed,” Swisher remarked. “The Science Instruction session is the first time we have offered a STEM-related topic, and the Stop the Bleed session is a
