Coffee With the Superintendent will take place on Friday, March 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. The event will be held at Mill 72 Bake Shop and Café, 45 N. Main St., Manheim.
The Manheim Chamber of Commerce will offer an Educate to Cultivate program on Wednesday, March 11, at Supply, 280 S. Oak St., Manheim. Registration and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the program from 8 to 9 a.m. Guest speaker Leslie Arnold, president of LA Lines Professional Development Services, will present on “Public Speaking in the Workplace.” A catered breakfast will be provided. The Manheim Central High School Class of 1970 will hold its 50-year reunion on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18. Save-the-date cards were mailed last year, and invitation and reservation forms with all the details were mailed to classmates in January. Camp Cadet of Lancaster County, an overnight summer camp for youths ages 11 to 13 who live in Lancaster County, will be held from Sunday, Aug. 16, to Friday, Aug. 21, at Camp Ware in Peach Bottom. Students in the cast and crew of the Manheim Central High School (MCHS) spring musical are thrilled to be presenting “Into the Woods,” the wildly popular and musically sophisticated show featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. A modern mash-up of classic fairy tales, “Into the Woods” brings main characters from “Cinderella,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Rapunzel,” and other beloved tales together in a story about a baker and his wife and their wish to start a family.
