Auxiliary To Host 25th Craft Show By Dayna M. Reidenouer

The women’s auxiliary of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, has been offering holiday shopping opportunities since 1995. The group’s 25th annual Christmas craft show and sale will feature more than 70 vendors and will take place at the church on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Event coordinator Jean Marconi stated that inclusion in the show is restricted to noncommercial vendors, and she tries not to duplicate crafts. For example, while there will be several jewelry vendors, the components, shapes, and designs of their creations are different. Pet Pantry Plans Open House, Pictures With Santa By Dayna M. Reidenouer

It has been nearly 10 years since Melody Sanders founded the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County. The organization has flourished, moving from

a rented storage unit to its own facility at 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster, and operating a mobile surgical trailer that enables veterinarians to perform neuter and spay services in remote locations. See Pet Pantry pg 6

Scouts Slate Santa Celebration By Dayna M. Reidenouer

The jolly old elf himself with be on hand to interact with diners and pose for pictures at the annual Breakfast With Santa event hosted by Boy Scout Troop 64 on Saturday, Dec. 7. The breakfast will be held at Salem United Church of Christ (UCC) of Rohrerstown, 2312 Marietta Ave., Lancaster,

and guests may drop by any time between 8 and 11 a.m. For an admission fee, guests will be offered a meal containing pancakes, bacon and other breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, apples, coffee, tea, juice, and milk.
