The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at Lancaster First Assembly of God, 1025 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, on Thursday and Friday, April 28 and 29, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 30, at 1 and 7 p.m.

Directed by Daniel Stargel, who has over 17 years of professional theater experience, “Cinderella” features a cast of over 50 students from grades three to 12. Stargel chose to double-cast some of the roles, partly to ensure that roles were covered in case of last-minute illness and partly to allow students to understand the characterization process better by giving more students an opportunity to participate and learn from each other.
