Palmyra First United Methodist Church, 520 E. Birch St., Palmyra, will celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with Advent “Hanging of the Greens” services on Sunday, Nov. 24. The kickoff to the Christmas season will involve decorating and celebrating with symbols of Christmas. Services will begin at 9 and 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. A book signing event will be held at the Pennsylvania State Police Museum, 187 E. Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, on Saturday, Dec. 7, between noon and 3 p.m. with children’s book author Robin Leigh Stoner. Her first book, “A Horse in Blue, Eli, Call to Duty,” details the journey her horse takes to become a four-legged member of the Pennsylvania State Police. The author will read her story periodically throughout the event and will offer signed copies of her book for sale. People of all ages are welcome. Posts Musical Club To Present “Schoolhouse Rock” Library Upcoming Events The Musical Club at Hershey Middle School will present its first-ever production, “Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.” on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 21 and 22, at 7 p.m. at the Hershey Middle School, 500 Homestead Road, Hershey. “Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.” is an energetic show featuring memorable songs such as “Conjunction Junction” and “I’m Just a Bill.” The production includes more than 50 students in sixth through eighth grades on stage and working behind the scenes. The Musical Club has been privately funded through support from The Trojan Foundation, Hershey Rotary Club, Bryn Mawr Trust, and The Jessica Drew Sunshine Memorial Fund.
