The Middletown Home, 999 W. Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, will hold its annual Father’s Day car show on Friday, June 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will include music and food. Hershey Area Women’s Connection will host the “Chocolate Lovers” brunch buffet at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at Hershey Italian Lodge, 128 Hillcrest Road, Hershey. The event will feature music by vocalist Joselyn Terry of Hershey, chocolates, and a presentation by Marsha Hassler from Watertown, N.Y., titled “I Didn’t Know, But Now I Do.” There is an all-inclusive cost to attend. Hershey Lions Present Annual Scholarship Chorale Plans The Hershey Lions Club showed its support of community youths by presenting Hershey High School student Anton Aluquin with a scholarship of $1,000 for continued education. The club presented Anton with the scholarship on May 7 at its meeting at the Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown. Annually, the Hershey Lions Club recognizes students who epitomize the Lions’ motto, “We Serve.” Anton’s history of volunteering, including serving with passion, made him a quality candidate to receive the scholarship. Anton, the son of Dr. Shirley and Dr. Vincent Aluquin, plans to attend Penn State University to major in health policy administration with the goal of attending medical school. The Hershey Lions Club has 30 members and meets on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:15 p.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 433 E. Main St., Hummelstown. Lions clubs are groups of men, women, and families that identify needs within the

Auditions The Susquehanna Chorale invites interested adults age 18 and over to audition for its 2019-20 season. Auditions for openings in all voice parts will be held by appointment on Mondays, June 10 and 17, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 212 Cocoa Ave., Hershey. Other audition times are available upon request. The chorale was founded in 1981 by conductor Linda L. Tedford. The chorale has received critical acclaim for its work, including the Margaret Hillis Achievement Award for Excellence. Most recently, the chorale was named a finalist in the community chorus division of the American Prize 2015 competition. Regular season concerts will include the Youth Choral Festival in November, three Christmas concerts in December, and two concerts in May 2020.
