Easter Candy Egg Sale Returns Seven Sorrows Catholic Church, 280 N. Race St., Middletown, will hold its annual sale of Easter candy eggs. The handmade eggs will be available in peanut butter, buttercream, coconut, and peppermint. Each 2.4-ounce egg is dipped in white, dark, or milk chocolate and sold individually. The eggs have received local awards and recognition. In 2019, nearly 81,000 eggs were sold through businesses and direct orders and at Seven Sorrows Parish. Roughly 6,000 pounds of peanut butter, 870 pounds of butter/margarine, and 4,320 pounds of chocolate were used by more than 80 volunteers working over four months. During its January meeting, members of the Hershey Lions Club celebrated citizenship and patriotism by recognizing

members of the community, including first responders and an educator. This marks the 35th year that first responders have been recognized and the 19th year that educators have been recognized. The Association of Faculty and Friends (AFF) of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine will hold its annual gala on Saturday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hotel Hershey, 100 Hotel Road, Hershey. The event will have a “Roaring ’20s” theme, according to AFF president Lisa BracciniBarletta. Over the past 50 years, the AFF has raised more than $1 million to benefit the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine.
