July Is Customer Appreciation Month At The Emporium

The Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium in Burlington City, N.J., will continue its year-long celebration of 20 years in business with Customer Appreciation Month all July. The Emporium will give away three gift certificates at the end of the month. Three lucky customers will have a chance to win a $50, $25, or $15 gift certificate to the multidealer shop. Each time a customer receives an invoice, they will receive a raffle ticket, thus the more a customer buys, the more chances they have of winning.

Also, each month during the summer, the front sales display case will highlight dealer’s best or unusual items from their booth or case. The Emporium will be divided into three sections, starting with its dealers located on Route 130 and ending with the dealers on River

Giant’s “Feeding School Kids” Initiative Returns

The Giant Company recently announced the return of its “Feeding School Kids” initiative. Now through Monday, Feb. 28, customers at Giant, Martin’s and Giant Heirloom Market stores are invited to round up their grocery purchases to the nearest dollar or convert their Choice points into a donation for their local public schools’ food programs.

Giant launched the initiative last year to address the issue of childhood hunger throughout local public school districts in the communities it serves. Together with its customers, the company raised more than $3.3 million in 2021.

This year, the Giant Company will donate $250,000 to the program. Through the “Feeding School Kids” initiative, school districts have been able to use the funds to support meal programs such as covering outstanding student meal debt, expanding food distribution programs, creating on-campus food pantries and supplying extra weekend meals.

For example, the School District of Lancaster scaled up its community garden initiative by implementing additional programming and providing fresh produce for more students and families.

For more information on the “Feeding School Kids” initiative, visit www.giantfood stores.com, choose “Community” in the menu on the top left, and select “Changing Children’s Lives.”
