A variety of handcrafted birdhouses, bird feeders, bird-themed quilted items, paintings, wall hangings, crossstitched items, and a hand sewn red purse will be on display as part of this year’s fundraiser. 16th Sportsmen’s Banquet To Feature Merle R. Fredericks By Ann Mead Ash

According to Jim Hertzler, chair of the committee of Ephrata- and Akronarea churches that are planning the group’s 16th annual sportsmen’s banquet, speaker Merle R. Fredericks was recommended to the group by a committee member and then references were checked. The outcome was favorable. “(Fredericks) fit the
