Local Scouts Earn Eagle Rank Michael and Logan are seniors at Elizabethtown Area High School. In the fall, Michael plans to attend college to major in computer science engineering. Logan plans to attend High Point University to major in strategic communications.
For both boys, the accomplishment represents 10 years of adventure and dedication to the Scouting program. In addition to earning the 21 merit badges required to achieve the rank of Eagle, each boy also completed a requisite Eagle Scout Project.

Prior to earning the rank of Eagle, Troop 117 members Michael Hensel and Logan Ginder completed their Eagle Scout Projects, which involved moving and reconstructing a playground and building picnic tables, respectively.

Michael Hensel and Logan Ginder, members of Troop 117, Elizabethtown, have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouts. Michael is the son of Melanie and Tom Hensel of Elizabethtown, and Logan is the son of Elisabeth and Todd Ginder of Elizabethtown.
